Labour productivity catch-up between Central and Eastern European countries

This bachelor's thesis deals with labour productivity as well as economic growth in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. The main goal of the work is to determine the rate of convergence of the level of labour productivity of the countries under review. Another goal is the analysis of labour productivity and economic growth and their development over time. Based on calculations, the value of economic growth and labour productivity of the countries of Central and Eastern Europe was determined and their development during the monitored years was examined. The resulting values were also compared with the EU 27 average. Beta- convergence and sigma-convergence were used to investigate whether labour productivity levels are converging in the monitored states. And at what speed convergence is occurring. The data were drawn from the Eurostat database.

Regional differences in labor productivity

The bachelor's thesis focuses on the analysis of regional differences in labor productivity in the selected sector - Industry, mining and quarrying divided according to the CZ - NACE classification, including the analysis of the selected plant of the company LB Minerals, s. r. o. and, on the one hand, labor productivity itself, the possibilities of measuring and defining factors that can influence both regional and corporate labor productivity. The measurement possibilities are further applied to the analysis of the Southwest region, the plant of the company LB Minerals, s. r. o. and the economic activity that prevails in the entire company. At the end of the practical part, a correct comparison and subsequent assessment of labor productivity in relation to the Southwest region is made, including the effect of labor productivity on the profitability of the company and the relationship between labor productivity and average wages.

Economic Aspects of Process Innovation in an Enterprise

The presented bachelor thesis deals with the assessment of selected economic aspects of the established process innovation in the field of production digitalization in the selected company. The economic benefits of innovation for the company were formulated on the basis of the economic indicators results evaluation. The analysis and evaluation of the implemented process innovation in a broader context clearly shows that the specific process innovation in the field of production digitalization has become a significant benefit for the company, as it has a positive impact on the company as well as on its employees and future direction. Digitization in general thus represents a clear trend that the analysed society intends to continue.

Diploma thesis deals with evaluation of company performance. The opening part describes the theoretical points, which is followed by introduction of the company. Using the financial analysis methods the financial condition of the company is evaluated. The results are compared to other five competitors. In the closing part are suggested recommendations to improve company performance.

Analysis and Proposal for Changes in Motivation Program in the Selected Company

The diploma thesis deals with analysis of a motivational programme and suggestions for its possible changes of the ALTREVA, limited liability company. The theoretical part of the work concentrates on summing up the basic observations on the topic. The practical part contains analyses of the present state of the company, its competition and the employment market as well as a research conducted with the use of the questionnaire method. The final part of the work provides suggestions for improvement of the current condition based on the results of the questionnaire search and other analyses.

Economic analisis production of the process

The final year thesis presented at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Technical University in Brno deals with economic analysis of the produc-tion process. Cost items are specified in the introduction of this thesis. After that the detailed analysis was made. This part of the diploma work is ended with a pattern example for optimalization of production costs. The second part of the diploma work deals with growth ratio of the productivity and with indica-tors of critical produced volume. In the conclusion of the diploma work there is a comparison of two technological alternatives of the production.

Master’s thesis solves the problem of design and implementation of the management information system directed on monitoring productivity of labour in the company. It’s main goal is to – based on the analysis of the actual state - create new, automated, identification and registration software system, which will serve to production leaders as a support for operative management. Project solves the problem of automation of data processing, automation of creation of continuous analyses and monitoring the productivity of labour in the key process of the company – the process of assembling of packages – with the ability to determine instant working performance and productivity of an individual worker.

The practical part includes the analysis of the current company state, results of investigation and suggestions for improving of current situation.
