Single-family house
Král, Matěj ; Bantová, Sylva (referee) ; Krupicová, Jana (advisor)
This bachelor thesis aims to design a single-family home. The residence is designed from energy-efficient sand-lime bricks with an External Thermal Insulation Composite System (ETICS) that ensures efficient insulation, embodying passive construction techniques for all-year thermal comfort. The ground floor contains a master bedroom, a bathroom, a kitchen, a utility room, and an entryway, all connected through a central hall that serves as a functional circulation. We can find an another bathroom on the first floor, two children's bedrooms, and another master bedroom with walk in closet. Foundations comprise plain concrete strips. The house will be connected to the freshwater service pipe and sewer service pipe. Fresh water will be heated by a hot water cylinder. From the hard landscaping by drainage paving and from the roofs by storing in the storage reservoir for watering the garden, excess rainwater will be infiltrated by infiltration soakaway crates. Heating in the house will be provided by a pellet boiler in the season of winter, and by solar thermal collectors, in a the summer time. On the ground floor by floor heating and on the first floor by ceiling heating system. All will be supported by photovoltaic panels with batteries in the utility room. Mechanical ventilation with heat recovery will be placed on the wall in the utility room and will supply fresh and extracted exhaust air.
Energy - saving family house in Hostinné
Laba, Libor ; Vaščáková, Alena (referee) ; Doležalová, Jana (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor’s project is to design a low-energy detached house. First part of project is focused on the structural and architectural design, building physics and fire safety of building. The plot is situated in the west of Hostinné and terrain is almost flat. The building is designed as two-storey detached house with flat green roof above first floor and flat blue roof above second floor and garage with green roof next to the house. The building is designed on concrete strip foundations and the load-bearing walls and ceilings of the building are designed of cross-laminated timber. The entrance to the plot and also to the house is in the north. On the first floor there is living room, kitchen, bathroom, WC, utility room, home office and pantry. On the second floor there are two bedrooms, master bedroom and bathroom. Second part of project is focused on the energy performance certificate, detailed design of sanitary installations and concepts of building services such as heating and ventilation. The designed house was classified as A in EPC. The rainwater will be partly retained in the green roofs and the rest will be accumulated in stormwater tank and further used for garden irrigation. Excess water will be infiltrated into the ground on the property. The house will be heated by a pellet boiler and heat distribution will be ensured through underfloor heating and radiators. The building is designed with a ventilation unit with heat recovery and photovoltaic panels.
Heating of the guesthouse
Kubík, Michael ; Vendlová, Lucie (referee) ; Počinková, Marcela (advisor)
The main subject of this bachelor thesis is the design of a heating system for a guesthouse located in a mountain area. The thesis is divided into 3 main parts - theoretical, computational and project. In the theoretical part, biomass and also petels are introduced. The second main part is focused on the concrete design of the heating system for heating and hot water. In the last part of the thesis, the technical report and the design of the building are provided.
Heating system in health center
Snášelová, Tereza ; Horák, Petr (referee) ; Počinková, Marcela (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor's thesis is design of heating and warm water preparation of health center. The project expect natural ventilation and consists of calculating heat losses, designing of heat source, heat transfer surfaces designing, pipeline proposition and regulation, warm water preparation designing and designing of boiler room. Warm water is preparing in combined DHW cylinder by heating water from boiler. Source of heat is pellet boiler.
Advanced methods of application of thermal techniques in the design of heating buildings
Mikoláš, Petr ; Vyhlídalová, Karolína (referee) ; Horák, Petr (advisor)
The diploma thesis is divided into three parts. The first part is theoretical devoted to the introduction of BETONG building material. And next It is also devoted to themes of low - energy buildings and nearly zero-energy buildings, heat sharing and thermal comfort. In the second part is the concept of the heating system elaborated in three variants of the design in the scope of the study for the new family house. The third part is devoted to use of shell blocks of the BETONG with internal contact insulation compared to other masonry systems.
Design of heating of the building
Dittrichová, Zuzana ; Horák, Petr (referee) ; Maurerová, Lenka (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to find a solution of heating system, a hot water preparation and a subsequent design of the heat source for the apartment building. The project consists of a calculation of heat losses, a design of radiators, a dimensioning of pipes and a design of two options of the heat source for heating and hot water preparation. The first option of the heat source I chose a pellet boiler and the second option is an electric boiler with solar collectors for the preparation of hot water. The introductory part deals with analysis of this object and emission limits of heat source using different fuels.
Heating with renewable energy sources
Oravec, Jakub ; Vyhlídalová, Karolína (referee) ; Horák, Petr (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to design heating sytem and hot water preparation system in apartment building with use of renewable energy sources. Theoretical part is focused on solar thermal collectors and their technical attributes. Practical part contains design of heating system and design of domestic hot water preparation system. Transport of heating water is provided by two pipe heating system with forced water circulation. Pellet boiler is usead as a heat source and is also usead as a primary heat source for hot water preparation. At the same time secondary domestic hot water prepartion system was designed through the use of solar collectors.
Energy performance of a civic building
Kořenková, Veronika ; Horká, Lucie (referee) ; Horák, Petr (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to process three variants of energy performance certificate of the building with different heat sources. The building is in mountain area Bílá in Frýdek-Místek region. The thesis has three parts. First part is focused on literary research of heat pumps. Second, calculation part, describes three proposed heat source solution. First heat source is heat pump, second is pellet boiler and the last one is gas condensing boiler. All three variants are evaluated from the economic and ecological perspective. Last part of the thesis contains three energy performance certificates of the examined building.
Heating of an apartment building using renewable energy sources
