Changes in the composition of the company's fleet in relation to the EU's "green deal" objectives
Tobiášová, Eliška ; Jandová, Kristýna (referee) ; Bača, Petr (advisor)
The purpose of this master thesis is to examine the so-called Green Deal and the related directives and regulations that are intended to help achieve the objectives set out in the Green Deal, as well as to analyse the fleets of the Member States of the European Union and the company with which cooperation has been established as part of this work. The thesis describes the Green Deal and its objectives. The European Union directives and plans with the aim of reducing CO2 that are currently approved or are yet to come into force are also mentioned, while at the same time they are compared with the directives and targets in force in the EU Member States, including the Czech Republic. In the following chapters, a brief description of the cars by type of fuel is given in order to follow a detailed analysis of the fleets of Germany, Sweden, Spain, Slovakia, France, Poland and the Czech Republic. This analysis is carried out using graphs and official statistics available from government institutions. Furthermore, an analysis of the company's fleet is made, summarising in tables the parameters of the vehicles available to the company. The results of the fleet analysis are also summarised in graphs based on the year of vehicle manufacture, emissions, and fuel type. In addition, an analysis of hybrids and electric vehicles currently in the company's fleet is also provided. This analysis works with data provided by the company and examines the cost of driving these vehicles, consumption, and battery usage ratio. Finally, a suggestion is made for the replacement of the current vehicles with the aim of saving emissions.
Composition of Municipal Waste
Straka, David ; Musilová, Petra (referee) ; Elbl, Patrik (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the composition of municipal and mixed municipal waste. Introduction of the research part deals with the composition and properties of waste. In the next section, the waste is considered as fuel and compared with conventional solid fuels. The conculusion of the research part is devoted to the research of the waste composition from selected incinerators adn foreign countries. The compulational part of the thesis deals with the determation of energy properties of the waste.
Conditions of Waste-made Fuel Combustion including legislative Requirement
Matoušek, Petr ; Pavlas, Martin (referee) ; Novotný, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis describes possibilities of usage of waste-made fuel from point of view of energetic utilisation in industry and power supply. There is a brief overview of energy resources structure, current situation in energy production and in waste management in Czech Republic. Particular types of waste-made fuels are also specified. One of the main parts of this work is fundamental analysis of legislation which governs waste management and alternative fuel usage. In the last part of the thesis the possibility of usage of mechanical-biological treatment as a waste management system is assessed.
Low temperature fuel cell for ultra-light-plane
Hladiš, Lukáš ; Brázdil, Marian (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with the concept of propulsion for ultralight plane with using fuel cells technology. Here are described the individual kinds of fuel cells and possible fuel. Furthermore it is listed the calculation of low-temperature fuel cell H2 - O2 with polymeric membrane (PEM). The thesis includes also a part with the design drawings of the proposed solutions.
Utilisation of biomass in the Czech Republic
Galčáková, Alena ; Beňo, Zdeněk (referee) ; Bělohradský, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis deals with the issues of biomass utilization in the Czech Republic. The introduction generally summarizes the sources of energy. Next follows the discussion about biomass as one of the alternative source of energy. The main part of the thesis focuses on the facility, namely on the boiler house, which utilizes the biomass as fuel. The facility provides the heat to the major part of town Bystrice nad Pernstejnem with almost nine thousand inhabitants. In the conclusion it is mentioned economical and ecological summary of the boiler house.
The heating system with accumulation
Bártů, Marek ; Moskalík, Jiří (referee) ; Štelcl, Otakar (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis "The heating system with accumulation" is concerning with an appropriate solution of heating of a house. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part is dedicated to theoretical introduction that clarifies the issue of accumulation tank and describes how it works and what kind of processes takes place here. The second, practical part is devoted to calculation of losses and design of heating system in combination with the accumulation medium. As a model example is taken a house in Brno - Židenice.
Biomass drying
Kroupa, Zdeněk ; Špiláček, Michal (referee) ; Baláš, Marek (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with drying of biomass and balance calculation of specified drying equipment. The task is to calculate the amount of flue gas needed to dry 170 kg of fermentation with a moisture content of 50% to 15%.
Proposal for heating of family house
Pavlíček, Michal ; Špiláček, Michal (referee) ; Hrnčířová, Michaela (advisor)
Family houses heating, depending on economic factors, is currently highly discussed topic. My work evaluates the possibility of heating such houses. The technical possibilities of model building and design of optimal heating sources are taken into account. The link of investment requirements and their return is also observed.
Design of equipment for automatic filling the boiler with wood designing automation and control stoking
Polák, Aleš ; Mazůrek, Ivan (referee) ; Dvořáček, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis describes the structural design of automatic stoking conveyor to log into the boiler during operation. The work described in the first part of the current methods of burning logs of wood, the combustion process and the possibility of smoke detecting. The second part focuses on the structural design of the device and a description of the implementation of functional sample.
Formula Car Fuel System Design
Rubíček, Pavel ; Svída, David (referee) ; Ramík, Pavel (advisor)
The fuel system is a very important part of the vehicle and the engine. The main function is to deliver the fuel- air mixture into the engine cylinder. This thesis describes the design of the Formula student car fuel system. The first part is an introduction to Formula Student competitions. The next section describes the options of the fuel systems structure and options for individual components. Those rules limit the possibilities for us FSAE that in the next chapter. The following parts are major chapters dealing with the actual design of the fuel system and analysis of selected components. The last part are chapters that deal with the production possibilities of parts and subsequent incorporation into the fuel system of the car.
