Determination of the indicative price of retaining walls

This bachelor's thesis addresses the issue of estimating the indicative cost of retaining walls in the early stages of project documentation. The theoretical part analyzes various types of retaining walls, their design, construction preparation, and identification of key factors affecting costs. The practical part focuses on creating a computational model for quick and accurate cost estimation of retaining walls. The outcome of this section is the design of a form and algorithms that enable efficient data processing and calculation of necessary values. The model includes tasks related to earthworks, excavations, handling of excavated material, foundations, retaining walls, material transport, waterproofing, and drainage. This model serves as a tool for designers and construction engineers for indicative cost estimation in the initial stages of project documentation, contributing to fast and efficient decision-making in the pricing of construction works. Finally, a comparison is presented between the indicative prices and the actual costs of selected completed projects and the recommendations of the ÚRS and RTS companies.

Diploma thesis is about qualification prerequisites of submitter of public orders on construction works. There are analyzed particular selection procedures including open simplified under-limited procedure and small-range contract. After that there is presented practical part, the main point of this work is to determine which of the qualification prerequisites are for submitter of public orders the most important. Consequently there is recommended which of the qualification prerequisites in convenient to use.

The master’s thesis is about qualification prerequisities of submitter of public orders on construction works. The first four theoretic chapters discuss the submitters and kinds of public contract. There are analyzed particular selection procedures including open simplified underlimited procedure and small-range contracts, which are related to the second part of the master’s thesis. After that there is presented practical part. The main point of this work is to determine which of the qualification prerequisities are for submitter of public orders the most important. Consequently there is recommended which of the qualification prerequisities is convenient to use. The master’s thesis inculdes prices‘ development of public contracts on construction works in the sphere of traffic in years 2009 – 2011.
