This diploma thesis deals with the application of the CNC control system Sinumerik ONE within the programming of machining and measurement. The first part of the thesis contains a research related to the addressed issues of this diploma thesis. The next part involves the design of experimental parts for which NC programs for machining and measurement were to be implemented. The design of the parts is based on the CNC five-axis milling machine SLV EDU. The thesis includes a description of the machine itself and the selection of workpiece material, tools, and cutting conditions. Methods of how the designed parts could be machined are also described. The following section provides an analysis of the developed NC programs for machining and measuring of the given parts, including examples from graphic simulations. Programming in the Sinumerik ONE environment was possible using the Run MyVirtual Machine software, version 1.3.2. The thesis further mentions how measurement results can be evaluated. The last part of the thesis consists of an assessment of its results and recommendations for practical application.
Production of pulley for micro-belts at SPN 12CNC/Sinumerik 810D
Juránek, Martin ; Dvořák, Jaromír (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
As the tittle itself suggests, this thesis deals with the production of two two poly-V pulleys on the lathe SPN 12 CNC. In the first chapter, the thesis mentions transmissions and its types. Furthermore, the main advantages of poly-V pulleys compared to classic V-pulleys are outlined here. There is also geometry and calculation relationships of power ratios in a simple belt transmission. The practical part suggests several methods of creating a possible CNC program for the production of the grooves themselves. The practical part suggests several methods of creating a possible CNC program for the production of the grooves themselves. Among the possible methods, the contour creation method using incremental programming is used, and 6 grooves are created using the FOR counting loop. The work is also supplemented about the methodology for measuring the functional dimensions of the grooves, and there is also the measurement of the parameters of the insert with which the grooves were made.
Motorcycle engine cylinder repair
Pinďák, Ivo ; Drbal, Martin (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the technology of a cylinder reboring. The working principle of the internal combustion engine and the wear that appears by its use is described first. The repair options of a concrete wear are stated next. The chosen concrete situation of the repair process includes TPP data and the final evaluation.
Design of production technology of an aluminum alloy flange
Vrbka, Tomáš ; Chladil, Josef (referee) ; Sliwková, Petra (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis aims to create a technological procedure for producing a flange, including subsequent instructions and select suitable tools, gauges, and machine parameters necessary for its production. One piece of flange was produced. The material of the flange is aluminium alloy EN AW-2017A. The flange is part of the diesel pump and has the priority function of sealing and guiding the pump camshaft. The flange was produced on a one machine DMG Mori CLX 450 universal CNC lathe on one clamping. To verify the functionality of the design, a 3D model of the flange was first created and printed. A technological procedure for producing the component was made, and a CNC program was created for the machine. Subsequently, the actual production of the part was carried out. For production, a rod with a diameter of 80 mm was used and fed to a length of 40 mm. Turning technology was used for machine the face, grooves, outer and inner contours. Milling was used for the recesses for the bolts and drilling was used for the holes. Iscar tools were selected for turning, and Hoffmann Group tools were chosen for milling and drilling. After production, the important dimensions were measured by using Mitutoyo and Bowers gauges and a Mahr roughness gauge.
Tool design for production of springs for an organ
Svoboda, Jakub ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This thesis focuses on a design for a machined bending fixture to enable the production of valve springs for organs. The reason for choosing this topic was the need to perfect the existing process of making organ springs. The main problem with the original fixture was the poor quality of the spring thread. Valve springs have varying properties and parameters that determine the requirements for the fixture. A 3D model of the complete fixture was created based on the author’s ideas and these requirements. Calculations were then made for a spring of specific dimensions. These calculations showed that the proposed size of the crank is adequate to enable it to be turned by the human hand. A force of 28 N is required at the end of the crank arm to exert the bending torque required to properly thread the spring. This figure is lower than the tabular values for the general European working population. This implies that the crank arm has the designed proportional length. To calculate the same specific spring and verify the function of the fixture, software simulation was also used. When creating the model, in addition to the calculations and simulation, an experiment was also conducted to verify the function and the main idea of the fixture, which is to bend with additional tensile stress. The result of the experiment was a spring that was subsequently compared with a spring produced using the original fixture. The marked difference in the appearance of the thread proved that the author’s idea was correct. The entire fixture and its components are described in detail in the thesis. The comprehensive design of the fixture in the form of a 3D model is prepared for consultation in an organ-making workshop and then for use in production.
Design of bench drill
Štěrba, Jakub ; Marek, Tomáš (referee) ; Pavlík, Jan (advisor)
The aim of the work is a bench drill structural design. The first part describes drilling machine categories, compares some of drill press machines available on the market and lists main flaws of most drilling machines on the market. In the second part the basic concept is selected and the actual design of the individual components of the drill is performed. The third part contains selected strength and kinematic calculations. In the last part, the final model of the machine is presented, and the current production progress is discussed.

Woodworking machines for furniture industry
Tomalík, Jan ; Chladil, Josef (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with woodworking machines that are used in the furniture industry to produce furniture parts. Initially, this topic describes wood as such. It discusses in detail its structure and composition, which are important in determining the physical and mechanical attributes of wood. The topic then focuses on the main machining methods by which wood can be processed, including the machines used for this purpose. Problems in sawing wood, that are caused by defects in the tool or in the material being machined, are mentioned. There is also a brief classification of furniture products according to the furniture standard, where furniture is classified using several factors. Finally, all the woodworking machines and methods are interpreted on the design of a wine rack, the manufacture of which is discussed in detail from the initial collection of the semi-finished product to its final assembly. A technological process is drawn up for all the parts needed to assemble the stand, accompanied by drawings.
