The volunteer programs that support child in adoption or foster care

The aim of the thesis Volunteer programs that support child in adoption or foster care is to monitor the offer of volunteer programs for children in adoption foster care in the Czech Republic and to show possibilities of support which volunteer program could bring to children, including demonstrations of experience from similar programs abroad. The theoretical part of thesis describes the foster care system with respect to the child's needs and ways of support that are available to them in both professional and volunteer sphere. Emphasis is placed on the role of people who accompany a child on his way from the biological family to foster families, including important relationships and ties, which child lose during his way. It will also explain the idea and values of volunteering as unpaid voluntary work, including the typology of programs focusing on children and the ways volunteers can help to improve their situation. Practically oriented empirical part shows the concrete experiences of the actors from the volunteer program supporting children in foster care by the interviews. Strategic Management in the Non-Profit Sector - Suggested Strategy for the Enterprise Leaders Platform

This work presents a case-study of application of the standard strategic framework to a specific non-profit organization in the Czech Republic. This organization is struggling with financial problems and with lack of competitive advantage. In the first part of the work, results of the external and internal audits are used to formulate a medium-term strategy for the organization. The process identified following key areas: strategic financial management, employee training and education and continuous improvement of quality of services. These areas are further developed into strategic goals and initiatives using a strategic management system Balanced Scorecard (BSC). Each perspective of BSC contains an example of the cause-effect relationship of selected initiatives. The output of the model is a matrix of scorecard measures which forms a basis for strategic management in the organization. Finally, early steps for the implementation of the Balanced Scorecard for a period of six months are identified. The non-profit sector and sustainable development

The bachelor's thesis focuses on the analysis of the relationship between the non-profit sector and sustainability. The main goal is to assess the financial viability of the Partnership Foundation and propose recommendations for improving management efficiency. The thesis describes the basic concepts of the non-profit sector and sustainability. Possible ways of financing non-profit organizations are listed here. These findings are subsequently applied to the Partnership Foundation. This foundation is established to help care for the environment through grants. In the thesis an analysis of financial management is carried out using ratio indicators and these indicators are summarized by the selected KAMF model. Finally, in the practical part, issues related to caring for the environment are approached through the Open Garden project of the Partnership Foundation. The work is used to implement possible changes in management and to submit certain proposals on how, through the Partnership foundation, to make society more aware that we only have one planet and it needs to be taken care of.

Bachelor thesis is focused on the financial situation of non-profit organisation in 2011 - 2014. The aim of the first part is a theoretical knowledge of non-profit sector in Czech republic. We will introduce the non-profit organization with its financial situation described in the financial analysis, in the second part. The last – third part is presenting solutions, which should improve the whole financial situation.

My bachelor’s thesis „Possibilities of financing of construction investment in municipality“ is divided into two parts – theoretical and practical one. Theoretical part contains definition of investment, the possibility of financial resources and also thesis includes non-profit sector. I particularly deal with non-profit and non-governmental organizations, their classification and funding. The practical part is directed again to financing but this time financing specifically construction belonging to non-profit sector. For this opportunity I chose the reconstruction of the building of kindergarten Pohádka located in town Bystřice nad Pernštejnem. I performed analysis of particular possibilities that could be used to financing of the building reconstruction. Finally I also pointed to the appropriate way of financing for this city.

The master thesis deals with the finance evaluation of funded organization Domov pro seniory Mikuláškovo náměstí. The aim of this work is the cost-benefit analysis and financial analysis of the organization and to make suggestions for improvement. The theoretical knowledge of the topic is summarized in the first part of this work while the next one focuses on the economic analysis. The last part concentrates on the submission of proposals for organization economy improvement.

The first part is focused on theoretical knowledge, the second section contains basic information about the school and analysis of the financial situation of the school. In the third part is the evaluation of the financial situation of the school and subsequent recommendations for improving the use of financial resources.
