Recruitment and Selection of Employees in Selected Company

This thesis focuses on the analysis of the recruitment and selection of employees at CONTEG, s. r. o., based in Pelhřimov. The goal of the thesis is to evaluate the system of recruitment and selection of employees in the selected company and to suggest possible changes for the improvement of this system. The first part of the thesis concentrates on a general description and theoretical principles of human resource management, with an emphasis on the recruitment and selection of new employees. The content of the practical part involves examining the current state within the company, applying two research methods: quantitative and qualitative. The survey is conducted through a questionnaire, complemented by a structured interview with the director of the HR department. The questions included in the questionnaire are designed to provide quantifiable data suitable for statistical processing. This method of processing enables a thorough understanding of the problems the company faces. In conclusion, the thesis presents suggestions for making the recruitment and selection process more efficient.
Personnel marketing in a selected company

The selected company is ALBI Czech Republic a.s., which specializes in offering gifts and accessories for various celebrations. The work explains the basic concepts and principles of HR marketing, including its goals, tools, and methods. Based on the analysis results, which include interviews with employees and store managers, it proposes specific measures. The recommended steps emphasize improving communication with potential job applicants and enhancing transparency in the employee recruitment process. This thesis extends the comprehension of personnel marketing and illustrates how applying personnel marketing strategies provide a competitive advantage to the studied organization.

Recruitment and talent acquisition is one of the most important processes in human resource management, as it determines the effective functioning of a company. The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of recruitment in a selected organization. The aim of the thesis is to streamline the recruitment process in a particular company. In the first part, the theoretical foundations of human resource management of the company are examined using a literature search in the field of recruitment and selection of employees. The practical part includes a description of the company, methods of recruitment and selection of personnel for the organization and an analysis of the current situation. A quantitative method using questionnaires for data collection and a qualitative method, namely an interview with an HR manager, were chosen to analyse the current situation in the organization. Based on the analysis of the questionnaire and the interview with the recruiter, the following suggestions were made: collaborating with universities, allocating time during the interview to bring the job duties closer to the candidates, reducing the number of participants in the group interview, creating a career page on Facebook, posting available jobs on LinkedIn, video presentations, and eliminating collaboration with agencies. These suggestions can help improve the company’s current recruitment system.

Bachelor thesis „Proposal for changes of human resource management in a company“ analyses the current state of personnel activities in the selected company. Using the questionnaire supplemented with interviews, which is examining the causes of the high turnover of new employees. Based on the findings and theories the improvements are suggested. This aims to promote further development a company and help eliminate turnover.

Master thesis is focused on analysis, design and development of information system module for the company XYZ s. r. o. The design of the module’s architecture, application objects identification and the development of the module including the economic evaluation are all based on the requirements acquired from the company. Modul is developed in new JavaScript version and uses modern technologies such as React, Redux, REST, Node.js and MongoDB.
Evaluation of youth employment programs in Ghana

This study evaluated the effectiveness of the youth employment programs in Ghana by way of helping to reduce youth unemployment. The study adopted a qualitative research approach. The study sampled 18 respondents to be part of the study. Tools employed for the data collection were an interview guide and secondary data sources. The study found that all categories of youth are targeted to be part of the program to work in government agencies and, after a given period, are weaned off the program, usually as and when clearance has been provided for recruitment into the mainstream. Finally, the study recommended that the youth should be equipped with employable skills in different sector agencies of the economy, enabling the youth to acquire relevant skills and knowledge to compete favorably in the job market. This, in the end, will cure employment vulnerabilities among the youth in Ghana

Konečná, Z. Recruitment of employees by personal agency Manpower, Inc. Bachelor Thesis. Brno, 2010. The Bachelor Thesis is composed on the topic recruitment of employees by personal agency Manpower, Inc. On the basis of the estimation the processes recruitment and selection of employees in this agency, there are summarized the advantages and disadvantages, that brings the co-operation with the agency. The biggest advantages are the experiences and possibilities of employees and agency employment. Disadvantage is a high agency commission, which is compared with the costs of personal department in the company in the final part of thesis. During the last five years, the agency has added in all 3 494 employees for IBM. The company has already paid about 131 mil. CZK for these employees. In the case of recruitment by own employees the company would pay about 31 mil. CZK. The agency should reduce costs on selection of employees, for example by reduction of number of web portals, on which it advertises. Next the agency should improve the quality of the content of advertisement, where is missing the salary and description of company, for which the agency chooses the employees.

This diploma thesis characterizes the recruitment processes, evaluates and compares the forms of recruitment used and proposes effective measures to optimize the processes in this area, taking into account the regional context. First, an overview of the recruitment process is presented with an emphasis on new trends and methods applied in the IT industry and the knowledge economy. Next, the selected company TechFides Solutions s.r.o. is characterized, its current practice is described and individual forms of recruitment are analyzed with regard to the labor market in the given region. Finally, a solution is proposed to improve the procedures in the field of recruitment in the surveyed company.
