Projected User Interface - Card Game
Brestič, Tomáš ; Kapinus, Michal (referee) ; Najman, Pavel (advisor)
Current effort to make human-computer interaction more intuitive leads to utilization of gestures replacing the need to use a conventional input device. At the same time there is a tendency to integrate the output into the physical world around the user and therefore to minimize any artificial means of interaction in general. The aim of this thesis is to implement a card game that can be controlled on the basis of the principles described above. Fundamental issues are human motion tracking, hand detection and gesture recognition. The application uses depth data from the second generation of Kinect sensor, analytical description of gestures and allows up to four players to play the game. Its graphics are projected on the table to maximize compliance with the real situation.

Web Application for Information Dashboard Design
Pastushenko, Olena ; Ismael, Mazen (referee) ; Hynek, Jiří (advisor)
The Design of Minimal Bluetooth Stack
Gazda, Martin ; Zbořil, František (referee) ; Hanáček, Petr (advisor)
This master's thesis main aim is to design minimal Bluetooth stack for embedded applications running on an education platform FITkit. This paper contains a theoretical foundation for that work and implementation description. The main section includes Bluetooth protocol stack design and main opportunities which such a design raises.
Outdoor Activity Manager
Tříska, Miroslav ; Ševcovic, Jiří (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
The aim of this master's thesis is to propose a dynamic user interface for a tool engaged in administration of leisure time and educational activities as a web application with an emphasis on frequented operations of daily programmes creation. This will be provided with a sophisticated searching of activities from which you can make a daily programme or on which basis of designated parameters can be achieved an automatical proposition of the programme. I intend to use accessible web technologies to make this real. The purpose of the project is study all these technologies and give shape to an effective user interface respecting needs of the target group of users.
Sensor Data Analysis for Advanced User Interfaces
Chmiel, Filip ; Polok, Lukáš (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
The paper deals with the creation of interface based on multiple input signals, i.e. multimodal interface. For this purpose analyzes the benefits of the approach to communicate with the device that way. The work also includes an overview of the level at which you can perform data fusion, and different approaches to the layout of the system architecture for multimodal data processing. The important part is the actual design of the system, where for the interface was chosen distributed architecture using software agents for processing inputs. As a method for data integration was picked hybrid fusion based on dialog driven and unification strategy. The result should be an interface for media center control and interaction with other devices around the user.
Age effect modeling of the unipolar transistor
Soukal, Pavel ; Kolka, Zdeněk (referee) ; Petržela, Jiří (advisor)
According to non-stopable progress in wireless communications, it is desirable to integrate the RF front-end with the baseband building blocks of communication circuits into a one chip in the recent years. The CMOS technology advances, this is the reason why it becomes attractive for system-on-a-chip implementation, but CMOS device is getting shrink, so the channel electric field increasing and the hot carrier (HCI) effect becomes more significant. If the oxide is scaled down to less than 3 nm, then there is the possibility of soft or hard oxide breakdown (S/HBD) often takes place. As a result of the oxide trapping and interface generation is the long term performance drift and related reliability problems in devices and circuits. During the scaling and increasing chip power dissipation operating temperatures for device have also is increasing. Another reliability concern is the negative bias temperature instability (NBTI) caused by the interface traps under high temperature and negative gate voltage bias are arising while the operation temperature of devices is increasing. Parameter’s extraction is a very important part of the current electronic components modeling process, as it looking for the value of the unknown parameters in mathematical model, which represents physical behavior of given electronic component. The problem of parameter extraction is that fits electronic components mathematical model to a measured data set is an ill-posed problem and its solution is inherently difficult. This diploma thesis presents the parameter extraction, optimization methodology and verifies it on a case study of a MOSFET mathematical models (LEVEL1, LEVEL2 and LEVEL3) parameter extraction. The presented nonlinear method is based on the method of the least squares, which is solved with the aid of Levenberg- Marquardt’s algorithm.
HCI Projects Management
Farbiak, Peter ; Maršík, Lukáš (referee) ; Kajan, Rudolf (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with problems of testing, especially manual and beta testing. Further thesis discuss area of Human - Computer Interaction and looks for possibilities of effective managing of HCI projects. As solution project hosting area is proposed, explained and existing solutions are examined. In practical part of thesis system for managing HCI projects is designed and implemented based on previous research.
Effective Use of Limited Game Space
Brestič, Tomáš ; Kapinus, Michal (referee) ; Najman, Pavel (advisor)
Current generation of consumer electronics products for virtual reality (VR) allows to track user motion in physical play area which can be converted into a corresponding change of their position in a virtual environment. There are, however, some potential pitfalls with using this approach as the main method of user motion in the virtual space. Therefore, vast majority of contemporary applications is based on different methods that do not take advantage of the available play area and the possibilities of the input devices in their entirity. The main goal of this thesis is to propose and demonstrate a feasible way of implementation allowing the use of available physical space and to try to evaluate whether basing the user motion in an application on the described approach can result in an increase of user interest, attract more users and offer them better experience, and whether it therefore can be profitable in spite of all the related disadvantages.
FET aging model
Novosád, Jiří ; Legát, Pavel (referee) ; Semiconductor, Aleš Litschmann, ON (advisor)
This work deals with problems aging of unipolar transistors. In theoretical parts are described the mechanisms which causing aging unipolar transistors and way leading to the restriction the change of parameters in time. The measurement and data evaluation was built on theoretical knowledge. The model of aging FET is a result of this works; it is creating extraction of data from measured data. Finally, the degradation constants are evaluation from this data. This FET aging model is easy to use in simulators of electronics circuits including aging simulations (e.g. ELDO).
