PROJEKTOVÝ DEN NA ČESKOBUDĚJOVICKÉM PLANETÁRIU
FUKSOVÁ, Martina
The thesis deals with project teaching at the Cheshire Planetarium for the first grade of primary school, more specifically for the fifth year. Its aim is to present the project teaching as a whole, the history of project teaching and to familiarize itself with the programs offered by the Cheshire Planetarium and analyse it in detail. Last but not least, the aim of this work is to develop a knowledge test, and after its evaluation, to create worksheets with a discussed issue that can be used both in the planetarium and in the classroom. Thus, the work consists of both the theoretical part, which is devoted first to project teaching in general terms, its planning and preparation, and the methodological part, which describes, analyzes and evaluates programs in the planetarium and aims to create a worksheet as well as its variations. This work could provide valuable material for emerging educators in the preparation and implementation of project classes with a visit to a planetarium in Czech schools.
Creation of combinatorics worksheets for the 1st grade of elementary school using an interactive whiteboard
ŠOBOVÁ, Terezie
This master thesis innovatively combines combinatorics with modern teaching methods through interactive worksheets designed specifically for primary school pupils in the first to third grade. In the theoretical part, the basic principles of combinatorics are introduced, including the rules of sum and product, variations, permutations and combinations, which are adapted to the age category of pupils. The practical part of the work focuses on the creation of interactive worksheets on combinatorics in the form of a game called "CITY". This game is described in detail including its concept, technical implementation and examples of its use in the classroom. As part of the practical part, research is also conducted to investigate the effectiveness and efficiency of interactive materials in the learning process. As a result of the work, a set of prepared interactive worksheets are prepared for use in teaching at primary school level 1. This thesis contributes to the modernization of mathematics teaching in primary schools through the effective use of digital technologies and innovative pedagogical methods.
Educational materials for the development of reading in the 1st grade of elementary school
Houzarová, Šárka ; Laufková, Veronika (advisor) ; Havlová, Jana (referee)
The Master's thesis deals with mapping and subsequent piloting of selected didactic aids that can be used in the teaching of Czech language and literature at the first stage of primary school. The first part of the thesis defines the concepts of reading, literacy, and readership along with describing the factors that influence these points. It touches on the topic of literacy and reading strategies. Possibilities for developing reading at school are also presented. It further defines didactic aids, shows their classification and specifically introduces nine didactic aids. The aim of the empirical part was to design, implement and reflect (evaluate) three lessons in which didactic aids were used. The implementation took place at the end of the school year 2022/2023 in two classes of the second year of primary school, each with three separate lessons. The lessons focused on the development of reading skills through didactic aids. Various aids (Dixit cards, Story cubes and Create a story cards), teaching methods and organizational forms were used. The lessons were followed by semi-structured interviews with selected pupils and participating teachers, and the observations were reflected upon. The research results show that incorporating didactic aids into Czech language and literature lessons supports...
Working with emotions in the development of reading from the point of view of teachers and pupils of the 1st grade
Jirátová, Pavlína ; Laufková, Veronika (advisor) ; Ronková, Jolana (referee)
The diploma thesis deals with the mediation of emotional literacy through work with a literary text through the eyes of pupils and teachers of the first grade of primary school. For the purpose of the work, five lessons were created based on the principle of the three-phase E-U-R learning model and focused on working with emotions, which were subsequently implemented and reflected upon. To evaluate the lessons, self-evaluation, and formative evaluation were used, which provided qualitative approaches to feedback from the visiting teacher and the students (both by interview method and content analysis of their products). These were semi-structured group interviews with pupils and individual interviews with the teacher. The lessons were implemented, reflected on, and evaluated at a primary school in the third year of 22 pupils (10 girls, 12 boys) during September/October 2023. Reading lessons oriented towards the development of emotional literacy improved the pupils' ability to express their feelings, influenced their attitudes and thinking, and fostered mutual respect for diversity. These lessons can be a source of inspiration for other educators. KEYWORDS emotions, emotional literacy, emotional intelligence, the 1st grade of elementary school
Karel Čapek's author's fairy tale in primary education to develop intersubject relationships
Šreinová, Eliška ; Laufková, Veronika (advisor) ; Komberec, Filip (referee)
This master thesis deals with the development of intersubject relations using the author's fairy tale, specifically the author's fairy tale by Karel Čapek. It also examines the development of the fairy tale genre and its features, and the characteristics of Karel Čapek's authorial fairy tales. In the course of research of current reading books, it was determined how often Karel Čapek's fairy tales are included in the reading books (from the book Devatero pohádek a ještě jedna jako přívažek od Josefa Čapka). It turned out that the most frequently used fairy tale is O princezně solimánské. The latter was used in the practical part as a text for the use of cross- curricular relations. The implementation was carried out in the 4th grade with 24 pupils in the lessons of literary education, music education, Czech language and national history. Individual lessons were planned in detail, then implemented, then subjected to a critical analysis and self-evaluation. It turned out that the prepared lessons led to objectives that support cross-curricular relationships. The most successful was the linking of the text with the topic of proper noun in the Czech language lesson and the processing of the same text in music education using a specific excerpt from the film based on the fairy tale. The pedagogical...

Back and forth between science and reality: Mathematical modelling in tasks with a science context (didactic experiment)
Šmíd Ridzoňová, Ráchel ; Havlíčková, Radka (advisor) ; Vondrová, Naďa (referee)
Mathematical modelling is part of the focus of the educational area "Mathematics and its applications" in the Czech national curriculum and is also a widely studied topic abroad. However, it does not receive much attention in Czech research. This thesis aims to introduce the concept to Czech readers and test the connection of mathematical modelling with science topics and the implementation of modelling tasks in the 5th grade of primary school. The thesis presents mathematical modelling as solving process of a complex problem with a real context in steps (0) undertanding the problem, (1) creating the real model, (2) mathematization, (3) mathematical operations, (4) interpretation of the result and (5) validation of the solution. Modelling competence, the modelling probem, and the relationship to word problems are also described. The chosen qualitative research method of didactic experiments explores the application of a holistic and analytical approach to teaching, identifies the difficult steps of modelling for 5th- grade students, and provides insights into cross-curricular relationships and organizational forms in the teaching of modelling. The research findings positively demonstrate that incorporating modelling tasks into regular lessons and linking them to science topics is possible but...
