Experimental verification of general method of phase shifting
Dobiáš, Jan
The paper is about experimental verification of general method of phase shifting.
Smoothing identification of systems with small non-linearities from amplitude response characteristic
Kozánek, Jan
This paper deals with the iterative smoothing of the amplitude response characteristic of a nonconservative (but auto-adjoint and commutative) vibrating system with small non-linearities (without jumping). The aim is to determine the complex eigenvalu with cubic stiffness behaviour and real modal coefficients in situation when no phase difference between output and input is known.
The sensors for apparatus MKA.UT3
Vaněk, František ; Vaněk, Petr ; Cibulka, Jan
The contribution deals with a brief information about two types of sensors usable for the measurement of dynamic parameters of parts vibrating under rotation. These two types of sensors are developed in the IT AS CR. The first type is inductivity and the other capacitive.
Dynamics of oscillator with piecewise linear model of impact interaction
Peterka, František ; Tondl, Aleš
A harmonically excited oscillator having one degree of freedom with soft stop is analysed. The soft stop is modelled by piecewise linear spring and damping characteristics proportional to the stop deformation. The regions of different types of motion chacterised by the impact number are determined by numerical simulation for several alternatives of stop stiffness.
Impact system with the hertz contact
Půst, Ladislav ; Peterka, František
Analytical model of dynamic impact based on Hertz theory and connected with nonlinear damping is presented for different values of contact stiffness. Hysteresis loops are shown. The Hertz constact model is applied for investigation of properties of 1 impact system excited by harmonic force. After introducing dimensionless parameters, the domains of different periodic and chaotic impact oscillators are ascertained for the Hertz coefficient kH=3;10;30;100.
Problems of impact oscillator dynamics solved in 2000
Peterka, František
Dynamics of mechanical systems with impacts is investigated in the Institute of Thermomechanics for purposes of undamental research and for the application of impact oscillators in mechanical processing.
Experiments with double oscillator with soft impacts
Kocanda, Lubomír ; Peterka, František
Results of the experimental investigation of a double-impact oscillator model and comparison of differences in measurement approaches of systems with rigid and soft impact are presented. The sensitivity of initial conditions for the particular motion of these systems is high, especially when soft impacts are included. Several points worth mentioning and having in mind during the measurement.
Penalty method versus kinematic constraint method in impact treatment
Dobiáš, Jiří
For treatment of impact and evaluation of contact forces acting between bodies we often use either the penalty method or the kinematic constraint method. The relative assets and liabilities of both approaches are discussed and practical experience are presented.
The influence of shear and normal stresses ratio on fatigue crack propagation
Václavík, Martin
Experimental discovery and an analytic description the influence of shear and normal stresses ratio on propagation of long fatigue cracks.
The influence of power spectral density on the crack propagation by the random loading
Svoboda, Jaroslav ; Mazanec, Jiří
The study of fatigue properties of the steel E460 proved that the form of the power spectral density influences the durability of test specimens stressed with a wideband random loading.
