Comparison of Complete and Short Form of Bruininks-Oseretsky Test of Motor Proficiency Second Edition (BOT-2) in Patients after Treatment of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia
Patrmanová, Eliška ; Štveráková, Tereza (advisor) ; Křížová, Barbora (referee)
This diploma thesis is focused on the comparison and usability of the Short Form (SF) and the Complete Form (CF) of the test battery Bruininks-Oseretsky Test of Motor Proficiency, Second Edition (BOT-2) in individuals after the treatment for acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). In the theoretical part, an overview of findings related to ALL, assessment of motor development, and especially the BOT-2 test battery is given. The main goal of the practical part was to verify the comparability of results from the most commonly used forms of BOT-2 in patients after ALL treatment. Methodology: 37 participants aged 4-21 years (mean age 10.3 years; SD ±3.9) were included in the study. The level of motor proficiency was measured with the BOT-2 CF. Data for the SF was extracted from the CF and processed using Two-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), Receiver Operating Characteristic (ROC) analysis, and correlation analysis. Results: Two-Way ANOVA results showed that post-ALL patients achieved a significantly (p < 0.001; Hays ω2 = 0.41) lower standard score in the SF (45.1 ±7.9) compared to the CF (49.1 ±9.4). Acceptable sensitivity (72.3 %) and high specificity (91.9 %) of the BOT- 2 SF were proven. Conclusion: The BOT-2 SF can be used to screen overall motor proficiency and classify an individual's result in the...

The first part on the international law analyzes the Convention on Biological Diversity, the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora, the Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals and the Convention on the Conservation of European Wildlife and Natural Habitats. The next part on the European Union law mentions pertinent conceptual tools and subsequently the relevant directives and regulations. These include, above all, the Birds Directive, the Habitats Directive, the Zoos Directive, the Regulation on the Protection of Species of Wild Fauna and Flora by Regulating Trade Therein, and the Regulation on Invasive Alien Species. The third main part pays attention to the Czech legal regulation. First, representative conceptual...
Rudist assemblages of the Upper Cretaceous "pocket" infills in the Teplice rhyolite - systeamtics, palaeoecology, stratigraphy
Křížová, Barbora ; Košťák, Martin (advisor) ; Čech, Stanislav (referee)
The study (MS, diploma thesis) is based on more than 1500 rudist samples from the Upper Cretaceous sediments of localities Písečný vrch and Na Stínadlech (near Teplice). Investigated samples come mainly from the collection of A. H. Fassel and were collected at the end of the 19th century, currently stored in the Regional museum in Teplice and National museum in Prague. The rudist shells were determined by generic and species levels, including five genera and eight species. The stratigraphic age of both localities has been a subject of discussion since the second half of the 19th century. In the recent decades, the opinion on the lower turonian age prevailed. However, five of the eight species present in the studied localities demonstrate the upper cenomanian age of the assemblages, making them probably the oldest known rudist-corals assemblages of its kind. The palaeoecological analysis and the ecological relationships proposal for the studied localities is based on the research in literature on palaeoecology and evolution of the rudists, also presented in the study. Key words: Bohemian Cretaceous Basin, Cenomanian - Turonian, rudists, corals, palaeoenvironment, Teplice rhyolite
