Selecting Information System for a Small Company

This diploma thesis discusses the methodology for selecting an information system to a smaller company. In the theoretical part of the work are described currently used information systems. Then it is analyzed the current situation in the selected company. Based on the analysis are shown necessary steps to tender for the supplier system. In conclusion it is suggested the methodology for evaluating bids, the financial evaluation and the expected benefits of successful implementation of the information system.

This diploma thesis deals with the creation a web presentation of e-commerce of a firm. It includes descriptions and analysis of the specific subject. Also it contents suggestion of electronic commerce, which should contribute to a stable position of the firm in this market, to increase awareness among customers and ultimately to increase profits. Then it describes the problems related to implementation of e-commerce and economic evaluation of the proposal for electronic commerce.
