Thesis deals with daughters of Charles IV. and Elizabeth of Pomerania, Anne and Margaret. It focuses on marriage arrangements, which concern these women. Whereas the elder Anne married king of England Richard II., Margaret became a wife of less noble John III. of Zolllern, son of burgrave of Nuremberg. Distinction between these marriages may demonstrate that political interests often exceeded requirements for husband's prestigious origin and that women of the same origin could marry men of entirely different political- social status. Thesis researches circumstances under which were marriages arranged, aims, with which particular dynasties approach them, process of negotiations and realizations of weddings. From the aspect of different statuses of selected husbands, it also deals with benefits of the solemnized marriages for concerned sides. It also tries to indicate princess's life and their role in marriage policy, marriage and relationships between their husbands and original family. The diploma thesis deals with possible expansions of selected companies selling engineering goods. The thesis is divided into two parts, literary research and practical part. Literary research focuses on explaining strategic management, financial analysis, decision making, site selection issues and case studies. Practical part first deals with the cost calculation of the selected places for the new store, then on the basis of the findings in the literary research, it deals with the determination of the decision criteria, their significance by the pairwise comparison method and then with the weighted score method, the selection of the most suitable placement is made. In conclusion, it is accompanied by financial analysis and recommendations for the company.

This diploma thesis is focused on the development of business activities of company H SORTA s.r.o., dealing with the sale of engineering goods. The aim of the thesis was to develop a proposal for the possibility of expanding activities based on the evaluation of analyzes of the external and internal environment. The results showed that for the company is the best to use strengths to take advantage of opportunities. At the end of the work are formulated steps for the introduction of a new range of products, which will ensure the development of the company through increased sales and awareness of the company.

Partnerships and capital companies - accounting and taxation connections

The aim of this diploma thesis is to consider whether capital companies are more advantageous than partnerships from perspective of taxation of companion's income. Only companies in the Czech legal environment are included. The initial hypothesis is that limited liability company and joint-stock company are the best option, because according to statistical data these are the most frequently present legal forms of business in the Czech Republic. The comparison is carried out in general model of taxation of selected type of income. The parts of this thesis are also attachments which complement analyses by some summaries and calculations.
