Alloy copper processing of selective laser melting technology
Kočica, Martin ; Šafka, Jiří (referee) ; Paloušek, David (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with finding copper alloy suitable for processing SLM technology and determining the process parameters leading to a relative density close to the full material. The theoretical part provides an insight into additive technology and the processing of new alloys in SLM. Work also contains a search report of processed copper alloys used in SLM. Based on the theoretical part were designed test samples and method of evaluation. Samples were produced by melting metallurgical powder using ytterbium laser with an output power 400 W. The testing is divided into three stages; Determination of the parameters of the SLM process, Debug strategies for larger parts, Geometric precision and mechanical testing. Based on the results was determined dependence of relative density on the input parameters. For the best parameters were determined geometric precision correction and mechanical properties.
Virtual currencies in real economy: Bitcoin
Šafka, Jiří ; Vacek, Pavel (advisor) ; Polák, Petr (referee)
This paper examines the relationship between virtual currency, the Bitcoin, and the real economy. In the first part the description of the term virtual currency is provided with special focus on Bitcoin. Also the legal and taxation issues are discussed. In the main part the volatility of Bitcoin is inspected using various models from Autoregressive heteroskedasticity models family. We found that the volatility of Bitcoin differs significantly through time and that this relation is captured best by T-GARCH (1,1) model. Finally the relationship between Bitcoin and real economy indicators is observed to be inconsistent and mostly insignificant in time. Thus we conclude that the independency of Bitcoin cannot be rejected. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Regulatory Impact Assessment of change in the Law of Protection of Competition
Šafka, Jiří ; Vacek, Pavel (advisor) ; Baxa, Jaromír (referee)
In September of 2009 the Law No. 395/2009 Coll. of significant market power in the sale of agricultural and food processing products and its abuse was adopted, which later came in force in 2010. Since the adoption the law is accompanied with problems, especially its very bad formal, as well as content imperfections. Thus complete abolishment of this legal standard was considered in year 2011. Following this act, it is proposed that the Act No. 143/2001 Coll. of protection of competition should be amended on those parts of law of significant market power, which proved to be beneficial for the competitive environment. Prior to the adoption of this amendment it is necessary to develop according to the directives of the European Union a Regulatory Impact Assessment, a document that analyzes the current situation, and through consultations with concerned individuals, propose possible solutions to the situation. In order to propose objective solutions, it is necessary to look into content and formal aspects of aborted law, find out the parts which have justifiable existence in the legislation, and after comparison with other European Union countries consider the form of criteria which will be assessed according to finding a distortion of competition. All this, if possible, with the lowest expenses and...
