Laboratory Work on Plant Physiology and Anatomy and its Use at Primary School
Vágnerová, Kateřina ; Teodoridis, Vasilis (advisor) ; Odcházelová, Tereza (referee)
The presented master thesis is focused on practical teaching of the plant anatomy, morphology ad physiology at primary schools in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part contains a summary of the basic knowledge about plant morphology anatomy and physiology including integration of the practical teaching of natural science in Framework Education Programme and its extension into the School Education Programme. This part includes also detail theoretical background of teaching methods, which are suitable for laboratory work and didactic games. The second, practical part contains a detail description of the seven author's laboratory works and seven didactic games dealing with different topics from the plant anatomy, morphology and physiology, their practical evaluation on pupils of two primary schools and one secondary school including following detailed analysis of the realized questionnaire of these didactic materials. According to the obtained research data, it is obvious that the using of practical teaching form is more attractive for the pupils than conventional teaching methods at primary school.
Investigation of Dynamics of Macrocyclic Inclusion Complexes by NMR Spectroscopy
Vágnerová, Kateřina
Calix[n]arenes and their derivatives are often used in supramolecular chemistry for their pronounced ability to form complexes. Thiacalix[4]arene is derived from the classical calix[4]arene by replacement of the methylene bridges between the phenol rings by sulfur atoms, which results in a slightly larger cavity and altered conformational behavior. Thiacalix[4]arene exists in a cone conformation, which is stabilized by an array of four hydrogen bonds between hydroxyl groups on the lower rim of the molecule. Its dynamic behavior in a non-polar solvent was studied by NMR spectroscopy methods based on the temperature dependence of 13C spin relaxation. The rate constants of flip-flop motion of the hydrogen bond array were determined by measurements of dependence of spectral intensities on echo-time in the CPMG NMR pulse sequence. The activation enthalpy and entropy of this reaction were determined. Next, the correlation times of molecular tumbling were determined and found to follow the Arrhenius temperature dependence. The measurements were compared to those of the "classical" calix[4]arene.

Marketing and implementation of paid services in the Children's Rehabilitation Welfare Institution.
Vágnerová, Kateřina ; Vrzáček, Petr (advisor) ; Trpišovský, Milan (referee)
DESCRIPTION: This thesis deals with marketing along with description of the change management in the form implementation paid services in the Children's Rehabilitation Welfare Institution in Krajská Zdravotní, a.s. - Nemocnice Teplice,o.z. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part deals with the theory of marketing. Its aim is to introduce and explain clearly what is marketing, what it is for and why it is important. When reading you learn about the history and development of marketing, learning about its basic concepts, such as the market, customer, product or service. Furthermore, I introduce what is meant by the marketing mix and marketing strategy and what is their part. A separate chapter is specifics of marketing in healthcare. The practical part has the form of case studies. Is an example of the use of marketing and its tools in practice. Describes each part of the procedure for the implementation of paid services in the children's rehabilitation welfare institution. It includes an explanation of why it was decided to take this step, it describes the manner of keeping employees, analysis, search and target specific groups associated with it, feedback and evaluation of the success of the project. Keywords: marketing, marketing mix, marketing strategy, customer - the client, request,...
