Didactic game in contemporary pedagogy

The thesis discusses didactic game applied in kindergartens and primary schools in the context of current educational system. The author's objective was to determine differences between employing didactic play in kindergartens and primary schools. Another objective was to verify whether teachers recognise didactic game as an adequate educational method and to ascertain whether didactic game fulfils its activation function in primary schools. Observation and interviewing were used as appropriate methods to conduct the research and collect the data. More specifically the author conducted observations in the pre-school kindergarten classes and the first three grades of primary schools, interviews with kindergarten and primary school teachers, and comparisons between classes where didactic game was used and where it was not. The following conclusions were made: the main difference in applying didactic game in a kindergarten and primary school is the teacher's approach to the assignment of the didactic game and subsequently the children's or pupils' perception. Kindergarten teachers consider didactic game to be a fundamental educational method, whereas in primary schools it is of similar importance as other methods. Impulses of Freinet's pedagogy useful for the czech education

This thesis is focused on Frenchman Celestin Freinet's pedagogy. The theoretical part first deals with the notion of alternative education and seeks to outline the features of the different types of schools in the Czech republic. In addition, a brief biography focuses on Celestin Freinet and describes the basic features and principles of his pedagogy. This part also examine teaching methods and techniques typical of the pedagogy and focuses in detail on one of them, the school magazine. The practical part documents a case study of one Swiss Freinet's school. It describes methods and techniques that are used there, especially the school magazine creation. The second part is dedicated to the practical experiment, which was carried out in the second class of one Czech school. Experiment focuses on a specific technique of free writing and the possibility of integrating this school magazine technique in teaching at the standart Czech school.

Multinational companies and their role in the global economy

Bachelor thesis gives general characteristics of multinational corporations. The thesis is divided into two major parts. The first part familiarizes the reader with definitions and classifications of multinational corporations and their strategies of entry to foreign markets. Theoretical part concludes with a chapter about globalization, a phenomenon, which is closely associated with development and influence of multinational corporations. Practical part focuses on two multinational corporations, Nestle S.A. and Toyota Motor Company. These corporations were chosen on the basis of different approaches to organization of production network.
