Malonate and succinate as potential corrosion inhibitors of AZ31 magnesium alloy in 0.9% NaCl
Tkáčová, Karolína ; Buchtík, Martin (referee) ; Doskočil, Leoš (advisor)
The aim of this work was to evaluate the inhibitory effects of malonic acid, succinic acid and their mixture in a 0,15M NaCl solution at pH 7 on AZ31 magnesium alloy. The theoretical part focuses on magnesium, its alloys and alloying elements. It also discusses magnesium corrosion in aqueous environments and the influence of microstructure on corrosion. The final section is dedicated to corrosion inhibitors and small aliphatic acids. The practical part of this work involves potentiodynamic measurements, immersion tests, and subsequent analysis of alloy surfaces. The following concentrations of acids were chosen for studying inhibitory properties: 0.025M, 0.05M, 0.075M, and 0.1M, as well as various mixtures of both acids. Suppression of corrosion was observed in immersion tests for both acids individually and in their mixture. The best inhibitory results in both potentiodynamic polarization (PDP) analysis and immersion tests were achieved with a mixture of 0.025M malonic acid solution and 0.075M succinic acid solution.
Dolní Lutyně - Residential Zone Design
Tkáčová, Klára ; Matuszková, Radka (referee) ; Radimský, Michal (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor´s thesis is the proposal of various solution of residential area in the village of Dolní Lutyně. It is mainly about finding a suitable arrangement of the construction lands in the defined territory, the resolution of transport infrastructure and static transport. All the variants have been extensively elaborated into a drawings- situations, longitudinal profiles and typical cross sections. The most optimal variant for the future investor was selected base on the selection and evaluation of the multi-criteria aspects.
Road design of streets Meluzínova, Františky Skaunicové a Komprdova in Brno - study
Tkáčová, Klára ; Čepil, Jiří (referee) ; Radimský, Michal (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to design varied reconstruction solutions of Meluzínova, Františky Skaunicové and Komprdova streets. Given the current situation, emphasis was placed on appropriate solution of static transport and overall concept of the transport space that will meet today's requirements. All variants were then developped in form of a study, into situation drawings and model cross sections. By a multi-criteria evaluation the optimal variant was chosen and further elaborated in detail.

Ethnic groups in the former Soviet Union space
Tkáčová, Kateřina ; Plechanovová, Běla (advisor) ; Střítecký, Vít (referee)
The topic of this diploma thesis is ethnic groups in the space of the former Soviet Union in the time period 1994-2006 and their involvement in ethnic conflicts. The aim of this thesis is to identify key parameters driving these ethnic groups towards armed conflict as a response to their needs, interests and living conditions. Key assumptions of this thesis are derived from qauntitative as well as qualitative studies. Important characteristics of ethnic groups are also included in the analysis of possible causes of ethnic conflicts. The theoretical discussion shows three main factors which can make ethnic groups more prone to conflict: permanent exclusion, strong identity and lastly dissimilarity of an ethnic group. Influence of these factors is tested using descriptive statistics, odds ratio, correlation and logistic regression. Statistical results shows that strong identity as well as discrimination of ethnic groups increase the probability of ethnic conflicts.
