Optimizing of electronic bussiness of firm GAME LAND s.r.o.

This bachelor´s thesis describes and evaluates electronic business of a medium size company which the sphere of business is information technology. Paper is divided into two parts and contains eleven pictures. First section describes the current state of electronic business regarding its content, functionality and graphic user interface. Second section contains improvement concepts for particular fields that will eventually help with general optimization of the e-business. Innovation concepts are strongly customer-oriented and they will improve the usability of web pages and contribute on gain enhancement.

Measurement of optic detector properties

Purpose of this master thesis is get acquainted with laboratory components designated for measurment of optical detectors, study principials of function of each detector and learn how to work with measuring machines. On the base of this knowledge will be measured spectral, frequency and dynamic characteristics of each detectors. The outcome of the thesis will draft of the laboratory exercise for subject Microscopy imaging technique teaching at the first semestr of follow-up masters studies of Biomedical engineering and bioinformatics at DBME, FEEC, Brno University of technology.

Contactless measurement of temperature

Purpose of this bachelor thesis is get acquainted with problem of non-contact measuring of surface temperature of human body. The teoretical part of this labour deal about physical substance of non-contact temperature measurement, using types of detectors and application of this method to the medicine. In the practical part will focus on design and realization of electrical circuit for non-contact temperature measuring, comunication with personal computer and software solution of program for building surface temperature map of patient. At the end of labour was performed a set of measuring to compare accuracy of built thermometer with commercially available products.

Laser with Narrow Spectral Linewidth for Metrology of Length

Práce se zabývá stabilizací diodového laseru pracujícího na vlnové délce 729 nm, který slouží pro přesnou spektroskopii a interakci se zachycenými a chlazenými ionty vápníku. Interakce s iontem vyžaduje, aby excitační laser měl extrémně úzkou šířku spektrální čáry. V práci jsou vysvětleny důležité postupy a metody vedoucí k dosažení provozu laseru se spektrální šířkou čáry v řádu Hz či nižší. Součástí práce je sestavení optické sestavy pro tento laser a k ní potřebných elektro-optických prvků. Hlavní důraz je kladen na techniky stabilizace laserové frekvence pomocí externích referencí, jejich teoretický popis a implementace je rovněž součástí této práce. Jako první přístup o zúžení spektrální čáry je zvolena metoda uzamknutí optické frekvence laseru na vybranou komponentu hřebene optických frekvencí pomocí elektronických fázových závěsů. Měření spektrálního šumu bylo provedeno pomocí dvousvazkového interferometru s nevyváženými rameny. Dosažené výsledky potlačení šumu u takto uzamčeného laseru byly poté porovnány s režimem laseru volně běžícího. Dalším postupem je uzamčení spektrální čáry laseru na velmi úzkou čáru vysoce jakostního optického rezonátoru. Touto metodou jsem dosáhl laseru s velmi úzkou spektrální čáru (v řádech desítek Hz), avšak s krátkodobou stabilitou. Finálním krokem bylo pak sestavení a použití techniky "trasfer oscillator", která zajistila dodatečnou kompenzaci nežádoucího driftu rezonančního modu optického rezonátoru a tímž zajistila dlouhodobou stabilitou celého systému. Takto stabilizovaný laser na 729 nm byl testován ve spektroskopii na zakázaném přechodu opplerovsky zchlazeného iontu vápníku.

Carabid Beetle Breeding at School

The main focus of this work is the collection and breeding of ground beetles (Carabidae) for use at schools. In the theoretical part, attention is paid to the morphology of images and larval developmental stages; occurrence, food specialization, reproduction and importance of carabids. The following is an overview of selected representatives that can be found in Europe. Furthermore, the collection of insects is generally described, including methods of trapping ground beetles. In addition to the individual collection, various types of traps can be used as well. Part of the work is not only the theoretical part, but also a practical description of the implementation of own collection and breeding, which were performed on the base of the theoretical part. A total of 27 individuals were collected at four sites in the Hankovec Forest, which is located in the Karlštejn National Nature Reserve. The method of individual collection and collection using traps was used for collection. Of the three types of traps, the jar proved to be the most effective. 15 representatives were used to carry out the research, and were placed in three types of insectariums. This bachelor thesis proposes a design of a steel support element for a wood-based construction. The steel element is designed for a specific wooden construction. In this thesis the particular steel joint is designed and a detailed description, selection of material and technological manufacturing process is included. In conclusion of the thesis there is an economical evaluation of the steel element production. The attachments include drawing documentation, a list of all drawings and a technological process.
