Rapping Children: Mutual Relationship between the Socialization of Adolescents and their Favourite Music Genre

The diplomathesis focuses on the influence of rap music on adolescents. The work is based on the analysis and synthesis of primary and secondary sources. The research section relies on qualitative research in the form of semi-structured interviews with informants. The first part explores the history and development of rap in the USA. The second part is dedicated to the Czech rap scene, identifying key artists and events that have shaped it, and examining its specific impact on adolescents. The outcome of the thesis is to highlight the potential negative and positive effects of rap on its listeners. This influence is shaped by various aspects. Integration of humanities in a specific school practice

The thesis deals with a specific case of connecting humanities (Czech language, history, geography and civics) at Pražské humanitní gymnázium. Using selected theoretical literature and a specific (auto)ethnographic probe in the named institution, it analyzes the teaching from the point of view of the school educational program and its continuity with RVP, on a more detailed level also from the point of view of the thematic plan and its implementation. The thesis also includes a description of the evaluation of this subject. The goal of the thesis is to find out if this connection is functional based on the experiences of teachers and students. Disinformation in our lives and at school

This diploma thesis explores in what way disinformation affect thinking and acting of people from psychological and sociological point of view. It defines fundamental concepts often used in relation to modern media world, such as fake new, propaganda, trolling, etcetera. Moreover, it covers how disinformation are accepted by various social groups and why the groups succumb to them. In the subsequent part, it explains, based on expert opinions, the role of media in today's society, how media contribute to the cohesion of the society, but also to its division. An important point is the attitude of the state to disinformation and to overall concept of free speech on social media, where it is often used to spread lies. The main part of the thesis concerns with education, particularly with the relationship between teachers and schools and media education. The practical part of the thesis is based on conversations with teachers from various schools which answer questions related to the teaching of media education. The point of the interviews is to connect them to the theoretical part as well as gain further insight into the topic.
