Developing Modular Information System with Domain-Driven Design

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá monolitickými architekturami a doménově řízeným návrhem (angl. Domain-Driven Design) a jejich kombinací při vývoji modulárních informačních systémů. Poskytuje ucelený přehled principů doménově řízeného návrhu a různých monolitických architektur, včetně čisté architektury a modulární monolitické architektury. Poté demonstruje použití těchto vzorů a architektur na ukázkové aplikaci. Práce nabízí pohled na vývoj informačních systémů s využitím populárních přístupů, jako jsou CQRS, čistá architecktura, doménově řízený přístup, modulární monolit a další.

Information System of the Mensa Organization

This bachelor’s thesis aims to design an information system for the organization Mensa Slovakia, whose current information system is insufficient for its needs. The proposed information system aims to simplify work for the organization's management, groups within the~organisation, and other users. This thesis analyzes the organization's requirements, focuses on system design, and summarizes user testing of the system. The information system was designed in PHP, with the front end designed in HTML using the template engine Twig and the CSS framework Tailwind CSS. The database was implemented using the relational database system MySQL. The main outcome of the work is a functional prototype of~the~information system for the organization Mensa Slovakia.

Health Care rReporting System

Healthcare reporting is used to document performed healthcare procedures to health insurance companies. Health insurance companies use these reports to evaluate and reimburse individual performed procedures. To successfully report health care, the system must keep records of carried out patient visits, the procedures performed during those visits and the trips the health care professional had to take to get to the patient. The aim of this thesis is to create a part of the information system that will allow selecting performed procedures and trips, checking possible conflicts between them, allowing correction if necessary, and finally generating special files KDAVKA and FDAVKA, that contain all the reported data, must strictly follow the format defined by the Veřejná zdravotní pojišťovna České republiky and are ready to be sent to the health insurance company without further modifications. In addition, the system must allow for the management of reported procedures and travel in case the insurance company refuses to bill for them. All generated bills must also be traceable in the system, with the possibility of inspecting all parts of them.

Remote Distributed Software Deployment in NixOS Systems

Táto práca popisuje návrh, implementáciu a testovanie serverovej aplikácie kompatibilnej s Cachix open-source klientom. Hlavným zameraním tejto aplikácie je poskytnúť spôsob vzdialenej distribúcie a nasadzovania softvéru v systémoch NixOS. Táto práca obsahuje nielen popis tejto serverovej aplikácie, ale aj stručný úvod k čisto funkcionálnemu systému pre správu softvéru Nix, k linuxovej distribúcii NixOS a k aktuálne populárnym riešeniam pre vzdialené distribuovanie a nasadenie softvéru v systémoch NixOS.

Utilising Large Pretrained Language Models for Configuration and Support of a Clinical Information System

The aim of this work is to get acquainted with the essence and use of large pre-trained language models, to get acquainted with the configuration options of the clinical information system FONS Enterprise and the possibility of its adaptation to the specific environment of customers. The work first presents large pre-trained language models and the FONS Enterprise clinical information system. This work examines possibilities of training models and implementing RAG methods on data from the clinical system. The implementation of the RAG architecture is supported by the tools LangChain and LlamaIndex. The results show that the RAG method with the Gemma model and the bge-m3 embedding model provides the most relevant answers on basic questions, but struggles to understand more complex questions. The method of pre-training the model does not produce the expected results, even after adjusting the training parameters.

Clod Computing System for Real-time Data Processing

This thesis focuses on designing a system for processing a large stream of geo-localized temporal data in real-time. The theoretical part addresses concepts and tools for real-time data processing and characteristics of real-time systems. The thesis introduces the design and architecture of a scalable system that utilizes message queues. Furthermore, the main concepts of implementation of the proposed system are outlined, using technologies emphasizing fast response times. As part of the work, a scalable system capable of processing a large data stream was developed.

Censorship on the Internet

Cenzura internetu je velmi relevantní téma moderní společnosti. Stále více se internet využívá ke kontrole přístupu k informacím a sledováním jeho uživatelů. Cílem této práce je zdokumentovat způsoby cenzury ve Spojených Arabských Emirátech a za jakým účelem je internet v této zemi cenzurován. Dále je to také prozkoumání dopadů této cenzury na přístup uživatelů k internetu, jakým způsobem cenzura internetu omezuje přístup k svobodným informacím a jak je využívána jako nástroj represe. Součástí této práce je návrh a implementace nástroje na zjištění přítomnosti cenzury a jakým způsobem je internet cenzurován. Tento nástroj je sestaven z několika testů, kde každý je zaměřen na otestování jiného způsobu cenzury. Tento nástoj lze úpravou vstupů využít pro testování cenzury i v jiných zemích, než jsou Spojené Arabské Emiráty. Nástroj nebyl schopen zjistit známky cenzury, kvůli jeho spouštění na virtuálním privátním serveru, který svým umístěním v síti obchází cenzorské prostředky dodavatelů internetového připojení, které jsou hlavním způsobem cenzury této země. Pro otestování jeho funkčnosti jako nástroje detekce a analýzy cenzury ve Spojených Arabských Emirátech, by vyžadovalo lokální uživatelský přístup k internetu.

Chat Bot Applications in CI/CD Processes

Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na optimalizaci drahoceného času členů týmu Container Verification Pipeline (CVP) ve společnosti Red Hat, pomocí chatbot aplikace, která je integrována do jejich každodenních DevOps procesů. Cílem této práce je snížit potřebný čas k vykonání různých úkolů a díky tomu snížit lidské zdroje. Pro vývoj tohoto chatbota byla použita služba s umělou inteligencí od společnosti Google, která umožnuje jednoduše vytvořit agenta umělé inteligence. Chatbot aplikace je rozdělena na dvě části (kvůli bezpečnosti a dostupnosti) a používá architekturu Dotaz/Odpověď. Nakonec budou vyhodnoceny a porovnány úkoly s použitím chatbota a bez něj.

Censorship on the Internet

Internet censorship is a significant and current topic that affects freedom of speech and access to information. This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the analysis of internet censorship with an emphasis on technical aspects, using Belarus as an example. The introductory part of the thesis deals with the context of internet censorship in the world and emphasizes the importance of freedom on the internet. Subsequently, a detailed analysis of censorship means in Belarus is carried out, including technical details and detection possibilities. The thesis also examines tools that allow users to bypass internet censorship. The main output of the thesis is a proposed and implemented application for analyzing the internet environment in Belarus, which allows the identification of censorship mechanisms and provides data for further research. The obtained results support a better understanding of the issue of internet censorship and offer possibilities for further monitoring and development of this application.
