Meaning and function of youth drop-in centres

The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part explains main terms such as low threshold facilities for children and youth, standards of quality of social services for low threshold facilities for children and youth and vocation and goals of these facilities. Other issues are concerning about history of streetwork and origin of youth drop-in centres in the Czech republic, about clients and workers and about troubles that can arise from their contact. The last two chapters of the theoretical part are about methodology of streetwork and about services and function which youth drop-in centres should fulfil. The practical part includes comparison of two points of view on the meaning of lyouth drop-in centres: Founder's point of view, acquired from structured interview and clients's point of view acquired from a questionnaire survey.

The main objective of this work was to discover the unfair practices that consumers face, how often they face them and how they can be prevented. The survey objective was to suggest improvements and resolutions to this issue.The main part of the work was to construe business practices, which are divided into misleading and aggressive business practices. The Literature Search was focused on basic terms related to the topic of unfair trade practices. In the the first place basic concepts were analyzed such as trade and its division into wholesale, retail and foreign trade. On the basis of the hypotheses, the practical section was executed by questionnaire, online and finally face to face. This thesis was focused on the business practices used by Czech businessmen. The aim was to find out where and how often the respondents were confronted with unfair trade practices.
Integration of an adopted child into a family

The aim of the Diploma Thesis about the Integration of an adopted child into a family is to analyse a process of integrating of an adopted child into a new family and identify areas with problems with adaptation on a new educational background. The main emphasis is put on an area of family relationship and educational problems. This Thesis is divided into the theoretical and the practical part. The theoretical part contains three chapters and the practical part includes a methodology of a research and a research report. The first chapter of the theoretical part is dedicated to a family as a basic supportive surround. A family is defined there, various conceptions of family workings and family functions are described there. The next subheads deal with family malfunction, psychical needs of children and parents and a psychic deprivation arising from unfilled needs. The second chapter explains basic terms of an alternative care. There are also characteristics of children suitable for an adoption and a description of an adoption process from a decision to an adoption.
