Reologické vlastnosti žloutků slepičích vajec v průběhu skladování
Pavková, Lucie
The thesis deals with the influence of storage time on particular physical and rheolo-gical properties of a yolk of chicken eggs. Monitored eggs were stored at 6 °C for 8 weeks. The thesis describes the influence of storage time on physical characteristics of a whole egg, such as weight and shape index. As expected, the weight loss of chicken eggs was demonstrated during eight weeks storing. Egg yolk (colour, height, width, weight, index and density) was also described and evaluated in detail. According to our estimates, there are no significant changes in weight during yolk storing. But yolk index is distinctly decreased. During the final part of monitoring rheological properties were evaluated - apparent viscosity, time dependence of viscosity and dependence of shear stress on the shear rate (flow curves). The experiments have proved Newtonian behaviour of egg yolk throughout the storage. The storage time has also clear impact on flow properties of yolk. The results of each experiment were modelled using the power law (Ostwald-de Waele) model.
Legal regulation of goods export from the European Union as part of common trade policy
Pávková, Lucie ; Scheu, Harald Christian (advisor) ; Svobodová, Magdaléna (referee)
Export legal regulation of the European Union as a part of common trade policy The thesis focuses on export of goods from EU to third countries, its legal regulation on both primary and secondary level and its display in the Czech legal regulation. Subsequently, the legal regulation is compared to export legal regulation of WTO. The aim of this comparison is to find out, whether there are any conflicts between EU and WTO regulations. Hypothesis consists of two thoughts: a) Legal regulation of export of goods as a part of EU common trade policy is embedded in EU law in detail. Export of goods is regulated (special) or banned in comparison to the regular export regime in certain cases; b) EU legal regulation of export of goods is in compliance with WTO legal regulation of export of goods. The descriptive, analytical (in part related to EU legal regulation) and comparative (in part related to WTO export regulation) methods were used when verifying the hypothesis. The thesis consists of two main parts. The first one aims to describe and analyze the EU common trade policy in relation to export of goods and its display in primary and secondary law. The aspects of common trade policy as an external activity is described as well. Based on this analysis, the thesis concludes that hypothesis "a)" is true and...

Concept of evil in foreign policy of USA - the example of George W. Bush administration

Lucie Pávková Concept of "Evil" in US Foreign Policy - the Example of George W. Bush Administration The bachelor thesis "Concept of "Evil" in US Foreign Policy - the Example of George W. Bush Administration" deals with the problem of "evil" created by the Bush administration in the period of first presidency of George W. Bush (especially between 2001 - 2004) and influence of the concept of "evil" on the formation of US foreign policy. It is a discursive analysis, which is divided into two parts - the quantitative and the qualitative one. On the basis of most significant speeches of George W. Bush, the quantitative part tries to find out the most important elements of the concept of "evil" and the actors considered "evil" by the Bush administration. These elements and actors are assessed with support of other administration's documents in the qualitative part of the analysis. The last part of the thesis deals with the relation of the new concept of "evil" and the actions in foreign policy led against these "evil" actors. In the first phase (2001 - 2002) the "evil" actors are mainly terrorists, while during the second phase (2002 - 2004), the "evil" actors are considered rogue states defined as Axis of Evil. The most significant elements of the new concept of "evil" are dualistic perception of the...
Dietární opatření při chronické pankreatitidě
Pavková, Lucie
Chronic pancreatitis (CHP), along with the acute form of the inflammatory diseases of the pancreas. While acute pancreatitis (AP) is really a matter with which one can meet only once in your life, mortality is still 25-30 %. Unlike acute pancreatitis, a chronic disease of this type is defined as a condition in which there is a permanent loss of external secretory function of the pancreas replacing the function of the pancreatic parenchyma tissue. I have chosen the CHP directly to pointed out the seriousness of this disease that affects more and more people and attention to external and internal factors that this disease can both positively and negatively influenced. There is diet as an important factor. That includes strict dietary measures which are necessary for patients with this disease. I explore the possibilities of diet and construct a suitable diet for each stage of the disease with the help of nutritional therapist.
