Polymer protective systems for concrete floors
Novotná, Adéla ; Vyhnánek, Miroslav (referee) ; Petránek, Vít (advisor)
The thesis is addressing the testing of protective polymer layers, which are used mainly for industrial floors. A summary table of standards is presented, dividing the test carried out on the binders, fillers, fresh mixture and polymerized material. Non standardize tests are described in detail in a very similar way as it is performed by the Institute of Technology of Building Materials and Components. The second part of my thesis is devoted to testing of the reference material and material filled with raw substances. Based on recommendations of Lena Chemical Company, filler – ground windscreen glass will be used. On this type of mixture selected set of tests needed for construction and technical certificates was performed.

The theoretical part of this thesis defines the specifics of new media, digitalization, Web 2.0 and the transformation of news content in the social networking environment. At the same time, it introduces the Jsem v obraze profile itself and its author, as well as other similar projects operating on social networks. The methodological part characterizes the methods used in the research. The linguistic analysis itself is based on the findings of the literature and provides concrete examples of the linguistic devices described in the posts...

NOVOTNÁ, Adéla
This bachelor thesis deals with the experience of young adults with peer rejection in childhood and adolescence. The theoretical part deals with the general characteristics of rejected children, reasons for rejection, forms of rejection and the consequences of rejection on the personality. Furthermore, attention is paid to differences in the perception of rejection and last but not least to the actual management and adaptation of rejected children. The research section, which is made qualitatively, using in-depth interviews, summarizes the experiences of young adults with peer rejection they have experienced in the past and focuses on how they coped with that experience.
Impact of the "Civic Integration Abroad" Act on Dutch Immigration
Novotná, Adéla Anna ; Lukešová, Anna (advisor) ; Matějka, Ondřej (referee)
The bachelors thesis Impact of the "Civic Integration Abroad" Act on Dutch Immigration is dedicated to the Netherlands and its integration laws. The Netherlands has gone through a big change since the year 1998 and it has completely revised its approach to immigration and integration of incomers. It has stopped adhering to the multicultural approach and has gone in an entirely new direction, which supports a civic integration. This work is particularly focused on the law of Civic Integration Abroad, which was introduced in 2006 as a new measure for the integration of immigrants. The main essence of the law is to meet certain conditions and a successful passing of an integration test before arrival to the Netherlands. This law was the first of its kind in Europe and it was intended to restrict the immigration of certain groups of newcomers. The second part deals directly with the act on Civic Integration Abroad and its development. The main part of the work is research, which is based on statistics and its aim is to determine how and to what...
The influence of high performance sports on pregnancy, delivery and puerperium

The bachelor thesis deals with the impact of high performance sports on pregnancy, delivery and puerperium. Theoretical part is focused on the changes in the organism of a pregnant woman, especially on her diet and the impact of either excessive or deficient physical activity. This part also evaluates the suitability of individual sport activities in terms of intensity and specificity during the period of pregnancy. It also addresses the influence of sport anamnesis on the delivery during each birth periods. The thesis also seeks the theoretical basis for returning to a high performance field or maintaining an adequate physical activity during the period of puerperium and lactating. The purpose of the practical part is to compare the population of professional athletes with the average population in both qualitative and quantitative features. Data from Obstetrics-gynecology clinic are used for the quantitative part of the research and are compared with a control group of the average population. The qualitative part is processed in the form of semi-structured interviews. Interwiews were conducted eith respondents who performer top-level sport and with respondents who had never pursued top-level sport. The respondents were acquainted with the topic of bachelor thesis and using their data. They were...
The use of the stable isotope analysis of carbon and nitrogen in the dietary reconstruction of the Lombard population in relation to the health status
Novotná, Adéla ; Drtikolová Kaupová, Sylva (advisor) ; Brzobohatá, Hana (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with a reconstruction of the Germanic tribe of the Lombards' diet found at Kyjov burial site dated back to the Migration Period (5th - 6th century A.D.) as well as a research of their living conditions. The principal aim is a description of this population diet and its comparison to the other populations within this period and the Early Middle Ages era. The diet was examined by considering of carbon (δ13 C) and nitrogen (δ15 N) stable isotopes analysis received and evaluated from a group of 60 adult individuals (30 men and 30 females). In regard to the interpretation of the isotopes values, the stable isotopes C and N were present in some animal species (N=19). Apart from the above mentioned, several significant health indicators were chosen for evaluation which indirectly show health condition and quality of living conditions of the examined group. These health indicators were evaluated in relation to the diet. The results of this study indicate that the diet of Lombards' population was based on C3 plants and animal proteins, which is similar to the other localities in the time of the Migration Period. It shows a difference, namely in consumption of millet, providing that the Lombards to the Great Moravian's localities are compared. The millet seemed to be common part of...

New Possibilities of Utilization of Silicate Secondary Raw Materials in Multi-layer Floor Systems
Novotná, Adéla ; Skuda,, Ladislav (referee) ; Petránek, Vít (advisor)
The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the multi-layer polymer flooring systems green products, where main focus is placed on recycled material fillers. The practical part is devoted to reference materials practical testing and also to testing of materials filled by secondary materials silicates with the conclusive tests support. The economic part should point out the advantages of the secondary raw materials use in terms of the final product lower price.
Repair formulations for fine-grained stone arte-facts
Tišlová, R. ; Novotná, Adéla
Stone restoration practice continuously deals with the problem of the selection of suitable repair materials. In establishing the requirements that guide their specification, the fundamental aim should always be to achieve the best compatibility between the substrate and the repair. When dealing with the restoration of stone, several aspects must be taken into consideration: not only the way in which compatibility influences the durability and structural and environmental resistance of the repair, but also the properties of the stone substrate itself must be considered. Compatibility is a highly complex problem but when considering the above mentioned aspects, functional compatibility – the compliance between physical and mechanical characteristics of the materials – is the most critical in prolonging the sustainability of the repair.
