RNDr. Darina Jirotková, Ph.D. Abstract: The aim of the dissertation is to discuss teaching geometry as integral part of mathematics education at the primary school level. The thesis also documents a longitudinal teaching study which was initiated in 2010 and which gives us a base for discussion of some fundamental questions regarding the process of learning geometry for pupils in their early school years. The main objective here is to attempt to answer the following four didactic questions: In which way do pupils learn about geometrical objects? How do they share their geometrical knowledge, experience and discoveries with one another? How much (at what level) are they able to understand mathematical concepts that the official curricular documents (the Czech Framework for Education Program) place in later years of schooling? What phenomena are they able to grasp and describe using their mother tongue? The theoretical framework focuses on the learning process and the typology of mathematical problems in geometry. This paper summarises the preliminary results form the research into the influence that conditions of agitation has on the progression of the aggregation process and on some of the properties of formed aggregates affecting the efficiency of separation processes. These results show that the applied velocity gradient G, the period of its action T and the distribution of a velocity field in the agitated volume of water influence the number of aggregates, their size and shape in a significant manner. Smaller and denser aggregates of a homogenous size and more resistant to breaking-up are formed with higher velocity gradient.

Psychorheology of low-fat spreads

Statistically significant relations, either linear or semilogarithmic,were obtained between the rheological and sensory data. A close linear relationship between the sensory texture and the flavour was observed. On the basis of the rheological and sensory measurements, it may be concluded that the rheometry could be used for the prediction of the texture and flavour acceptances of fat emulsions with a fair degree of accuracy.

Je zaměřena především na dobrovolné nástroje, které mohou společnosti zavést nad rámec plnění legislativních norem. Mimo to vysvětluje proč firmy na českém trhu zavádějí normy řady ISO 14000, jejich spokojenost s nimi a problémy, se kterými se setkali při jejich implementaci.
