Burnout Syndrome Problematics of the Rýmařov Region's Social Services Employees

Bachelor's thesis discusses burnout syndrome problematics of the Rýmařov region's social services employees, who work with seniors. Aim of this work is to map out the frequency and degree of burnout affecting social services employees in Rýmařov region. Additionally, thesis considers factors (personal and working conditions) probably involving or affecting creation and development of employees' burnout syndrome. Thesis consists of two parts - theoretical and practical. Theoretical part of the work analyzes definition of the burnout syndrome, its symptoms, stages, associations with other psychical effects, risk factors, which plays crucial role during syndrome's formation, and last but not least, possibilities of help and burnout syndrome's prevention. Also, thesis shortly describes characteristics of the work with seniors and social services. Pratical part includes processing of the structured survey containing two parts: first part focuses on getting personal information and details about social services employees' working environment, second part is MBI survey (Maslach Burnout Inventory), which indentifies degree of burnout in three scales: emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and personal accomplishment Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Breastfeeding women's awareness about the benefits of breastfeeding

The aim of the present study is to determine the level of awareness of breastfeeding benefits among breastfeeding women. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part describes the history of breastfeeding, the composition of breast milk, prerequisites for successful breastfeeding and contraindications to breastfeeding. Furthermore, the benefits of breastfeeding for the child and the mother are discussed, together with factors affecting breastfeeding. In addition, the availability of information on breastfeeding in the Czech Republic is also briefly mentioned. In the practical part of my thesis, I used a method of quantitative research - specifically, an anonymous non-standardized questionnaire of my own design that was distributed to breastfeeding women. I based the questionnaire on the predetermined objectives and research questions. I chose the PAPI (paper and pen interviewing) survey method and used basic descriptive statistical methods (namely, absolute and relative frequencies) to interpret the results. Psychological Safety and Burnout Syndrome among Social Workers

The thesis deals with the relation between psychological safety at work and the burnout syndrome among social workers providing social or integration services to persons granted international protection. The structure of the main text part of the thesis is divided into the theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part mostly deals with the definition of psychological safety at work, burnout syndrome and specifics of social work with persons granted international protection. In the empirical part are researched data, gathered from the quantitative survey conducted at the turn of 2020 and 2021, analyzed using the statistical data analysis. A total sum of 52 social workers, providing social or integration services for persons granted international protection in the Czech Republic, participated in the research. To create data the survey consisting of the introductory survey focusing on the attribution data, scale to measure psychological safety and survey Maslach Burnout Inventory measuring the burnout level in three dimensions of the burnout syndrome which are emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and personal accomplishment was used. This thesis is an annotated translation of selected chapters of the book Lenguas y dialectos de España describing the linguistic situation in Spain, which was written by the Spanish philologist Pilar García Mouton, an expert on geolinguistics and the variedness of Spanish. The aim of this work was to create a functionally equivalent translation comprehensible for Czech readers interested in the Spanish language, culture and history. It is divided into two parts. The first part is the translation of four selected chapters and the second part is the commentary which contains a translation analysis, a description of the translation methods used and some shifts in translation illustrated on concrete examples.
