The bachelor thesis is focused on the history of a small town Fryšták in the first half of the 18th century. Šimon Mikl is our guide of those days - a bourgeois who lived from 1693 to 1762/67. The first part describes the situation of towns in the 17th and 18th century in the Czech lands, their settlement with consequences of the Thirty - Years War and Enlightenment reforms. In the other part I devote to the history, the economic and social situation of Fryšták from the first written mention to the end of the 18th century. In the last part of the bachelor thesis Šimon Mikl's life is decribed - he was a portreeve, a reeve and a bourgeois of Fryšták.

Jadrníček family. Path from weaver's loom to entrepreneurial and municipal elite in Fryšták of 19th and first part of 20th century

The dissertation is focused on recognition of local elite Jadrníček family in a small town of Fryšták in the 19th and first half of 20th century. The study describes family's entrepreneurial activity, private life, activity in the local council and associations, inter-generational social mobility and presentation of family's economical and social capital. The first part describes history of a small town Fryšták and local economic and social relationships. The second part focuses beginning and progress of the enterprise "Val. Jadrníčka syn", its business results from the 1880s till 1948. The conclusion describes in detail five members of different generations in Jadrníček family whereas the family role in the local council is mostly analyzed. The Jadrníček family could be named as a typical example of Czech modern local elite.
Comparison 3M subsidiaries in the Czech and Slovak through quantitative methodologies intercultural Globe with applications of marketing management

The goal of this thesis is cross-cultural comparation of Czech and Slovak subsidiary of 3M Company. It will be reached through GLOBE study in comparison with Geert Hofstede method and its five main cultural dimensions. Questionnaire research will be conducted for achieving this goal ( according to original questionnaire of GLOBE study) among employees of mentioned subsidiaries in Prague and Bratislava. Findings of this research method will be used for explanation of cultural differences (should there be any) between 3M Cesko and 3M Slovensko. Also these findings will proof wheter or not is possible to apply the same marketing management in both countries.
