The goal of the dissertation is to describe the topic of unemployment in the Czech Republic not only in terms as well as historical development, social, economic, and social conditions of unemployed. The primary aim of this dissertation is to determine the impact of social benefits, depending on client's attempt to work on his or her inclusion into the work process. The dissertation seeks to determine whether passive labour market policies are effective, especially the social benefits for the unemployed. The paper also tries to explain the main causes of long-term unemployment and it is impact on individuals. The dissertation also seeks to find out whether the system of assistance in material need has a positive impact on clients of labour office or whether is discouraging to the potential efforts of eventual integration into the labour market. TITLE: The work opportunities for clients from Children homes using the social services of Halfway Houses in Prague AUTHOR: Anna Kudláková DEPARTMENT: SUPERVIZOR: PhDr. Olga Havránková This dissertation deals with the topic of work opportunities for clients from children homes using the social services of halfway houses in Prague. The aim of my work was lives of people after leaving institutional care, specifically childrens homes. I studied and classify and eventually I provide comperhensive information on the issue. The work is trying to map the life style of former clients of children's homes, mainly in the area of employment. The work also explores of opportunities on the labour market and their real usage. I have chosen this topic because of my own commitment to the issue. I worked as social worker in the children home. And now I work as a street worker for the labour office in Prague. I am working for all Prague districts so I can see the clients of labour office in the whole capital. I can see the opportunities of the unemployed. I wanted know if the former clients of children's homes have a different possibilities than people who growed up in normal function families. Life of clients after spinal cord injury

TITLE: Life of clients after spinal cord injury AUTHOR: Anna Kudláková DEPARTMENT: Katedra pedagogiky SUPERVIZOR: PhDr. Jaroslava Hanušová Ph.D. The theme of final work is "Life of clients after spinal cord injury". The aim of my work was mapping individuals with this injury. Study and then sort and provide compact information of the issue. At the same time try role of handicapped client through fixed rules experiment. Thanks to experiment gain unbiased information from one day life of man on wheelchair. Later, trough quantitative analysis, this information confront with feelings of actually handicapped people. Initial point for quantitative analysis was a survey, which was made not only in organizations engage with this issue. Respondents were chosen randomly, their age range was 26-50 years, social or other status wasn't determining. Question form was based on hypotheses defined in advance, which were after decoding earned dates in most cases confirmed. Thanks to complete information and questionnaire probe this work provides valuable information of the issue and could be used for orientation and mapping of this area, not only in helping professions.
