Face detection in image
Koudela, Ondřej ; Harabiš, Vratislav (referee) ; Mézl, Martin (advisor)
This work is basic overview over methods of face detection in picture and it's components. The main part of the work is an example of algorithm developed in MATLAB programming language for face detection based on skin color segmentation in different color spaces and their implementation in real time. The basic algorithm is discussed in several steps with shown results for each of color spaces and in the end of the work is evaluation of used methods. This work also includes a simulation of processing real-time detection in MATLAB Simulink.
Design of delta pi 3D printer with tempered bed using CAE systems
Koudela, Ondřej ; Maxa, Jiří (referee) ; Vyroubal, Petr (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with 3D printing using non-commercial 3D RepRap type printers. This work briefly describes development trends of non-commercial RepRap printers, theory of FDM print with analysis and comparison of materials, which are used in printing and the issue of the finite volume method and theory of heat diffusion. The practical part based on simulations from SolidWorks Flow Simulation discussed two basic methods of heating hot bed, then the temperature profile of hot end and the heat flow in full assembly of the printer. Outcome of this work is design an optimized model and the physical assembly of 3D printer delta pi type.
Sociological insight into the emergency medical service
Koudela, Ondřej ; Tuček, Milan (advisor) ; Kuchař, Pavel (referee)
This paper brings critical sociological analysis of contemporary situation on the EMS field in Czech Republic and discovers several topics which seemed to be less emphasized at that time. The result of the study is complex description of the EMT's personality, particular types, the population as a whole, specific relationships between variables and a few problems identified during the survey. Using mixed design research methods, the author deals with the emergency medical services in Czech Republic and it's employees. Based on the narrative data collected in speeches with the EMS staff, the typology of EMT's was created, considering their work attitudes, and a set of hypothesis was created as well. On this basis the continuing quantitative research was designed, verifying the validity of previous findings. The paper offers possible directions, how to continue in forthcoming research.
The burn-out syndrome and rescue workers
Koudela, Ondřej ; Remr, Jiří (advisor) ; NÁHRADNÍ, OPONENT (referee)
This paper offers a basic insight into the probelmacy of rescuery - using his own expiriences and literature, the author provides elementaric introduction to emergency medicine. He explaines some basic therms and characteristics, using them in the practical part below. At the same time the paper introduces the burn-out syndrome. On this theoretical part concurs a quantitative sociological survey, connecting together the two theoretical themes mentioned above. First, it deals with the incidency of the burn-out at rescue workers in The Czech Republic, second, it investigates choice possible predictors of this phenomenon within the frame of emergency medicine. The survey-part follows also the regional disproportions of emergency medical care in The Czech Republic. Aside from the theoretical introduction to the emergency medical care and the burn-out syndrome problemacy, also interresting findings are to be found here: how the rescuers are afflicted with the burn-out syndrome, what are they mostly frustrated with and last, but not least, how is this connected with the region they work in.
