Separation of dynamic and static structures in a series of images
Gebrtová, Karolína ; Kosová, Petra (referee) ; Rajmic, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on the separation of static and dynamic structures of video. While the major part of the video background remains static, a few moving particles can be observed. Such video can be represented by a low-rank and a sparse component. Using a low-rank structure, the background can be separated by applying either the median filter or the dynamic mode decomposition. Furthermore, the thesis includes the robust principal component analysis which can be perceived as an optimization problem. In addition, the thesis is enhanced by result visualization methods.

Dimensionality reduction of statistical dataset
Sabo, Adam ; Kosová, Petra (referee) ; Hrabec, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis introduces methods which are used to reduce dimensionality and their subsequent application to selected sets of sports statistical data. The first part of the thesis deals with the theoretical apparatus of mathematical statistics, in particular with the Principal Component Analysis and its alternative - the Factor Analysis. The second part provides a brief explanation of the terms related to the selected sets of football statistics where these methods are applied. The third part introduces the results of the application of both methods to statistical files. Data obtained through calculations performed in Python programming language are organized and interpreted by means of graphs and tables.

Fourier methods of eliminating optical artifacts in SOHO EIT images
Satýnek, Daniel ; Kosová, Petra (referee) ; Druckmüllerová, Hana (advisor)
This thesis deals with the application of the two-dimensional discrete Fourier transform for the processing and analysis of image data from a space telescope. A method will be described that is used to eliminate periodic artifacts caused by narrow-band pass filters in images from the SOHO EIT spacecraft. The design of a filter in the frequency domain to suppress periodic noise in the image is discussed. Proposed method calculates the amplitudes of the filtered frequencies based on an approximation of the surrounding amplitudes. The algorithm of the method and how to set its parameters will be described.

The Magazine ONA DNES and its place in the Czech medial region
První z nich představuje a charakterizuje titul z hlediska formy, témat, žánrů, reklamy, čtenářské obce a redakce. Druhá část studuje časopis ONA DNES z pohledu titulů pro ženy. Představuje další tituly a zobecňuje typické znaky ženských časopisů.
