Reordering Text Fragments Using a Language Model
Holubec, Michael ; Kocour, Martin (referee) ; Beneš, Karel (advisor)
The aim of this work is to construct and experimentally verify the effectiveness of the language model in identifying the reading order. For this purpose language model with LSTM architecture was constructed. This work designs and implements three methods which are used to identify reading order. These methods are Language analysis, Spatial analysis and Combined analysis. Language analysis and combined analysis used constructed language model. The success of the language model, and all three methods, was measured on three datasets containing newspaper articles. Language analysis reaches 57,6 % and spatial analysis reaches 91,6 %. Combined analysis achieved the best results 92,9 %. The work shows that the language model can be used to identify reading order but use of additional data (e.g. spatial data
Automatic Speech Recognition System Continually Improving Based on Subtitled Speech Data
Mobile App for Managing Tips in a Restaurant
Kocour, Martin ; Špaňhel, Jakub (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with an issue of tip evidence. The result is an Android application for tablets, which provides easy tip recording and its transparent division among employees. In the thesis are described problems with developing application for Android operating system. Reader will read about the process of designing and implementing. The paper is supplemented with results of application testing and its future in way of developing.
Artificial Intelligence for the Santorini Board Game
Rybanský, Adam ; Kocour, Martin (referee) ; Beneš, Karel (advisor)
The aim of this thesis was to use create an intelligent agent using Reinforcement learning to play Santorini, a 2-player zero-sum board game. The specific algorithm that was implemented was a modified version of Deep Q-learning, with the use of convolutional neural networks (one for training and the other for estimating future Q-value) and a memory of previously executed moves, from which the agent chooses randomly during training. Numerous experiments resulted in 2 final models. One was trained by playing against basic bots, with gradually increasing difficulty. The other was trained by playing against itself from the start. The outcome shows that the model playing against itself produces better results, however both models still perform worse than a bot which uses heuristic function.
Call Sign Detection and Recognition in VHF Communication
Dedič, Juraj ; Kocour, Martin (referee) ; Szőke, Igor (advisor)
This work explores the processing of data from air traffic communication in order to detect and recognize the~call signs it contains. Particularly it involves recognizing these call signs in human made and automated text transcripts of the communication between pilots and air traffic controllers. The thesis compares various ways of solving this and describes their problems. It implements a system for the identification of these call signs using a suitable technology based on large language models. One of the outputs of this work is a service that is able to distinguish the call signs, which enables indexation and sorting of this data in an efficient way.
