Josef Nesvadba's Peklo Beneš as counterfactual fiction. Narrative and thematic analysis

This bachelor thesis is focusing on narrative and thematic analysis of Josef Nesvadba's Peklo Beneš (2002). This bachelor thesis has introduction, three chapters and conclusion. First chapter is focusing on counterfactual historiography and counterfactual fiction, second chapter is focusing on narrative analysis of Peklo Beneš (narrative categories) and third chapter is focusing on thematic analysis, that are main and minor topics, counterfactual events in the history of Czechoslovakia from 1938 to 1989 and science fiction invention of Indinet. This bachelor thesis is based both on professional literature of Lubomír Doležel and Niall Ferguson, and on paper of Erik Gilk, who follow up counterfactual historiography and literature, and on Kubíček, Hrabal, Bílek's professional narratology literature.
Application of French Methods of Text Analysis into the Czech History Teaching

This diploma thesis is focusing on the application of the French text analysis method in history teaching in the Czech Republic. The objective of this thesis is to introduce the French method not only theoretically, but also to create specific lessons based on it. The terminology uses the term method for the translation of the French term méthode. The basis for this thesis is mainly drown from the French history textbooks, the interviews with the teachers and the history lessons in French. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with the introduction of history teaching in France, including the textbooks used at both primary and secondary schools. Furthermore, it presents the individual methods of working in history lessons according to the French method. In the practice part, this thesis presents the lessons prepared for history lessons in Czech, which were realized during the school year 2018/2019 at the bilingual section of the Jan Neruda Grammar School in Prague. These lessons were created for the purpose of this work based on the French method or were translated from French history textbooks. Role of the New Media in Politics

This diploma thesis is focusing on analyzing a possible influence of new media on politics with an emphasis on the three most popular social networks as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. The main methods used in this thesis are analysis and subsequent comparison of acquired facts. This thesis has two subtopics. Firstly, it is the action and the access of Czech and world politicians on the social networks. Secondly, it analyses the events of the Arab Spring in the years 2010 and 2011. This thesis is based both on professional literature of Czech and foreign authors, that follows up mass media, mass communication and new media, as well as on studies analyzing social networks as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, on Czech and foreign newspapers, TV broadcasts and post electoral studies.
Activating teaching methods in french language teaching

The subject of this diploma thesis is activating teaching methods in french language teaching. This thesis outlines the issues acitvating teaching methods in the concept of other teaching methods. There is a definition of teaching method, classification of teaching methods and characteristics of each activating method. In the practical part of this work are given concrete forms of activating teaching methods appropriate for teaching of french language.
French books so called "italicum" in the Eggenberg part of the castle library in Český Krumlov

This diploma thesis deals with French books which refer anyway to area now called Italy that is stored in the baroque Eggenberg part of the castle library in Český Krumlov. It means Italian authors, realia, history, famous personalities, etc. The goal is to create list of these books released since 1717 and characterize them from aspects as literary genre, content and reader's interest of Eggenbergs, mainly Marie Ernestine of Eggenberg (1649 {--} 1719). Also questions like what was the influence of prefaces to Eggenberg readers and if books were popular and read by them are important parts of this thesis.
