Confessional bipolarity in Český Krumlov at the beginning of the 17th century
KŮRKOVÁ, Petra
The diploma thesis is focused on the religious conditions and conflicts in Český Krumlov at the beginning of the 17th century, when the town was ruled by Bohemian Royal Chamber. The main aim of this thesis is to analyse a religious-oriented dispute that occurred in the years 1609-1613. The conflict was between the major group of Catholics' townsmen and the Evangelicals' community whose influence grew stronger that time. Throughout the conflict, Evangelicals from the town wanted to confirm religious privileges such as their own shrine, a preacher, and a teacher. The primary source that was written after the conflict from the Catholics' point of view is stored in the State regional archive in Český Krumlov. The analysed conflict is going to be situated in the context of other religious-oriented disputes that were taken place in Český Krumlov and other towns located in the Lands of the Bohemian Crown during the previous years.
Bullying issues at selected primary school and special school
Kůrková, Petra ; Hanušová, Jaroslava (advisor) ; Syřiště, Ivo (referee)
(in English): I chose the topic for my bachelor thesis because I'm interested in it. I myself am a mother of three children of different ages and I think the topic of bullying is very interesting. One of the hypothesis of my work will be to find out whether and how the parents of children that have experienced bullying perceived this situation and if they can actually correctly name it. Another goal will be to find out in what specific way the parents of children that have experienced bullying dealt with this situation. The practical part will focus on the basis of a questionnaire survey to determine the consequences of bullying in a regular elementary school and a special elementary school. Based on the questions asked, it seemed that the parents had experienced bullying only once, which, according to the definition of bullying, does not meet the definition of bullying. Many parents are unaware of the phenomenon of bullying and do not consider signs of bullying to be bullying. From the presented speeches, the parents mentioned the most common manifestations such as torn or damaged clothes, or lost things than, for example, physical harm. Parents also reported some slander, but rather unrepeated. From the regular speeches, the parents mentioned children's fears of leaving to school and that the...
The auspices of the last Rosenberg family (explained by an example of the town of Prachatice)
KŮRKOVÁ, Petra
My bachelor thesis is focused on Prachatice when this town was under the auspices of Rosenberg family. The main aim of this thesis is to describe the auspices of the last Rosenberg family in the years 1551 - 1601, which has not been studied in detail in the historiography so far. I try to exceed this period of time and focus on the auspices in the period in which the town of Prachatice was possessed by the Czech chamber. Another aim of the thesis is the description of ecclesiastic administration in the important towns located in the Rosenberg dominion. Primary sources I have used for my work are stored in the State regional archive in Prachatice (Archive of the Prachatice town) and in the State regional archive in Třeboň, workplace Český Krumlov (Manor Farm Estate Prachatice-Volary). An issue of the Income declaration of the year 1558 is attached in the appendix.

The aim of the study was to map the repertoire of vocalization of four wild-caught grey parrots (Psittacus erithacus), two males and two females. Data were collected during nine days from June to November 2008 by recording of vocalization in standardized conditions. Recorded sounds (3 052) were categorized according to their characteristics using both visual inspection of spectrograms and listening. We found 70 different call types, which were combined into 18 bigger groups. We found no subject to use the whole repertoire. Important differences were found both between individuals and between males and females. almost all call types were used throuthout the whole period of recording. Model spectrograms of all call types are shown. Key words: grey parrot, Psittacus erithacus, repertoire, vocalization
