The Party of the Expelled" in the Český Krumlov and Prachatice district 1970-1980

The thesis "The Party of the Expelled" in the Český Krumlov and Prachatice district 1970-1980 through the research of regional context deepens the knowledge of the process of establishment and legitimization of Normalization in the periphery of the Czech borderland. On the basis of archival materials, mainly from the District Committees of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia (KSČ) in Český Krumlov and Prachatice and other sources within the Party hierarchy, it tries to map the course of the consolidation process and party purges in 1970. Compared to nationwide data, it attempts to capture the specifics of the Czechoslovakian periphery. The main task of the thesis is to analyze various fate of excluded members of the KSČ: the so-called "Party of the Expelled." The analysis focuses on their diverse life trajectories and ways of dealing with separation from the party collective, with special regard to the various loyalties that these people were tied to the party, to the society, workplaces and, last but not least, to each other. Through this analysis, the role of this segment of the population in establishing the legitimacy of the Normalization regime is shown. Alternative political thought in Czechoslovakia between 1969 and 1977: acteurs, social networks, ideologies

This bachelor thesis deals with political thought of Czechoslovakian opposition between the years 1969 and 1977. Through the analysis of oppositional documents it shows its intellectual and social context, its conceptions and political aims. The first part of this thesis describes institutional development of opposition and its relationship to the state power at the begining of the period of so called normalisation. Second part analyses oppositional political programmes. It focuses on differences between oppositional groups and their conceptions of political, social and economical life. It also tries to reveal social and intellectual context of these programmes. Last part deals with topics common to all oppositional groups. Particular attention is paid to the problem of oppositional relationship to socialism and development of legitimacy of the opposition.
The Use of Google Analytics in an E-shop

This thesis is focused on detailed description of the Web analytics tool Google Analytics and its use in improving attendance and competitiveness of Dobra vína company's e-shop. The aim is to propose measures that will increase sales of offered products. The measures were designed combining the analysis of web content, technical analysis of the web and the data obtained using Google Analytics. The thesis provides updated information on setting up Google Analytics: important changes that had taken place recently among which the transition to asynchronous syntax. These haven't been yet summarized in any other similar work. It also brings its own perspective on the use of information from Google Analytics to improve the performance of Internet business. The thesis presents the web analytics and the tool Google Analytics in general; it describes the setup and customization of the tracking code and finally it provides a short guide on how to read the visualized data. In the practical part it explores the web content of the Dobra vína's site and its technical aspects, after this it presents the specific settings of Google Analytics for the site and the final chapters analyze the data obtained from Google Analytics and propose adequate measures to take.
