The function of methamphetamine in the life of a user diagnosed with ADHD in connection with the self-medication theory of substnce use

Background: Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) increases the risk of substance abuse. Within the ADHD self-medication theory, people with ADHD choose stimulants to compensate for unpleasant conditions and relieve and suppress ADHD symptoms such as excessive hyperactivity, inattention, and emotional lability. Objectives: The aim of the research was to describe the context of the use of methamphetamine in the user career of persons diagnosed with ADHD, focusing on the reasons for using methamphetamine and the benefits of this group within the framework of the self-medication theory of the use of addictive substances aimed at the prevention, and treatment of addiction disorders. Methods: The research was conducted qualitatively through semi-structured interviews. Open-ended interviews, axial coding and pattern capture were used to analyze the data. The sample consisted of 6 individuals purposively selected from the Clinic of Addiction Medicine in Prague. Results: The results show that methamphetamine was often used for reasons that help the user to function normally, increase productivity and concentration, higher self-esteem, and suppress negative emotions. ADHD in the active methamphetamine users population

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is more common in metamphetamine users community than in the general population and users with ADHD have different behavior patterns than users without ADHD. The main aim of bachelor thesis was to find out to what extend ADHD disorder occurs in the active methamphtamine users population and if they are informed about having ADHD and how the ADHD affected the person's drug use. The secondary objective was to chart interest of the active methamphtamine users in possible substitution treatment. The research was designed as a quantitative survey using an anonymous structured questionnaire included Adult ADHD Self-Report Scale (ASRS-v 1.1). This questionnaire was designed only for the purpose of this survey for active methamphtamine users visiting Sananim contact centre in Prague. The sample group included 18 clients of the contact centre and the aswers were analyzed by the means of descriptive statistics. The comparison of the financial statements presented in accordance with Czech Accounting Standards and with IFRS and impact on the financial analysis

The aim of this thesis is to compare the financial statements presented in accordance with Czech Accounting Standards and with IFRS. The theoretical part is focused on the analysis and comparison of the requierements of IFRS and Czech Accounting Standards on the financial statements with emphasis on crucial differences between the two accounting systems. The main focus of the theoretical part is concentrated on the presentation and measurement of the most significant assets and liabilities. The second part deals with the comparison of the informative value of the financial statements prepared in accordance with Czech Accounting Standards and IFRS. It describes the impact of different accounting system on the picture of the financial situation and company performance on the example of České dráhy, a. s. This section begins with the evaluation of changes in values of absolute indicators based directly on the financial statements. The final part clarifies the effects of the transition on IFRS on results of methods of financial analysis. The evaluation of the format and contents of the financial statements is also included.

The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the system employee benefits system. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the term employee benefits and describes the most widely known benefits and current trends in this area. The main aim of the following practical part is to analyse the system of employee benefit in concrete medical facility on the basis of questionnaire survey and competitive comparison.
