Study of microplastic sorption properties
Hlaváčková, Hana ; Kučerík, Jiří (referee) ; Řezáčová, Veronika (advisor)
There is currently an effort to replace conventional plastics with biodegradable products that will have the ability to replace these substances. One of the possible biodegradable felt, which is currently being studied in detail, is also poly (3-hydroxybutyrate), which is produced by bacteria. This bachelor thesis deals with the sorption of selected substances on poly(3-hydroxybutyrate) microparticles. Substances whose contamination of water sources is a significant problem today have been selected for this work. Specifically, the sorption of the nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory substance ibuprofen, the triazole fungicide tebuconazole and the most common drug caffeine on PHB particles, which fall in the size of the microplastic group, were studied. The method of liquid chromatography with mass detection was used for analyzes.
Application of a novel continuous sampler for the determination of compounds in ultrafine aerosol
Hlaváčková, Hana ; Řezáčová, Veronika (referee) ; Alexa,, Lukáš (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on the use of new type of continuous sampler for the determination of compounds in ultra-fine aerosol. The aim of the study was to optimize parameters of the aerosol sampler CGU-ACTJU (Condensation-Growth Unit – Aerosol Counterflow Two-Jets Unit) and its application for the real aerosol samples. The ACTJU sampler connected to upstreamed CGU enables sampling of ultra-fine fraction of particulate matter to the diameter about few nanometers. The measured results from CGU-ACTJU were compared with commercial sampler (cascade impactor) with subsequent offline analysis. The atmospheric aerosol was sampled in two campaigns (July–August 2021 and February 2022) on the terrace of Institute of Analytical Chemistry of CAS in Brno. Theoretical part of the study contains information about analytical methods for the characterization of aerosol, the experimental part describes used methods in detail and the results of experiments are discussed.
Olga Krijtova
Hlaváčková, Hana ; Špirk, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Sedláčková, Lucie (referee)
This theses focuses on Olga Krijtova (1931-2013), Czech translator from Dutch. The aim is to introduce Olga Krijtova within the framework of reception of Dutch literature in Czech cultural environment. In order to explore this framework, the thesis compares Czech and Dutch culture from translatological point of view, outlines the history of Czech-Dutch relationshiops and Dutch literary translations into Czech, as well as the history and current state of the academic discipline of Dutch studies. In the 20th century, Olga Krijtova had contributed greatly to making the Dutch literature available for Czech recipients. The thesis aims to find out how many translations done between the years 1957-2016 are Krijtova's or her students' work. Further, it summarizes her teaching and linguistic work. However, the main focus is her translation activities, which is studied by means of translation analysis in the second part of the thesis. The final aim is to review and interpret Krijtova's translation strategies and methods, as well as to assess her overall contribution to the reception of Dutch literature within the Czech environment and to the Dutch studies in the Czech Republic. Key words: Olga Krijtová, Dutch translations, Dutch studies, translation analysis, literary translations
Elements characterization in urban aerosol
Hlaváčková, Hana ; Cigánková, Hana ; Mikuška, Pavel ; Hegrová, J.
Elements are important components of atmospheric aerosols. Heavy metals are known environmental pollutants due to their toxicity and their ability to accumulate in the human body. Heavy metals can exhibit toxicological afects even in trace amounts.

The Christian motif with abstraction tendency in sacral area after 1945
Bobůrková, Laura ; Lahoda, Vojtěch (advisor) ; Hlaváčková, Jana Hana (referee)
The thesis called "Christian motif with abstraction tendency in sacral area after 1945" deals with paintings related to this topic on the background of artistic profiles of the following artist: Mikuláš Medek, Ludvík Kolek, Jaroslav Šerých, Milivoj Husák and Petr Veselý. The sacral work is being put into context with Christian art which can be found in sacral environment. The introduction titled "Art and theology" is about the relationship between the modern Christian painting and theology. The artistictheological discussion cannot be separated from historical outlook or problems, which are closely connected with a question: Under what conditions and by the use of which artistic technique should we depict the likeness of God?
The iconography of the oldest paintings with the theme of Christ's birth
Šindelářová, Martina ; Hlaváčková, Jana Hana (advisor) ; Royt, Jan (referee)
The nativity of Christ is one of a crucial moment in the salvation history - the point which stands in the beginning of Christ's physical presentation in the world. It is no wonder that a demand of its representation in the visual art emerged very soon. Therefore, the picture of Christ's nativity is ranked among the oldest visually processed themes which derive from the life of Christ. This long history attracted an attention of art historians as early as in the 19th century but the most significant studies came from a pen of art historians who worked during 20th century, mainly in the second part of 20th century - for example works of Gertrude Schiller or Günter Ristow. Although there are a lot of books and articles about this theme, none of them has emerged in recent years when our knowledge are enriched by an array of new information. And also a methodology was radically changed. The only one more complex modern study is Rainer Stichl's work. However, his interest is focused on the Eastern pictures. There is still an empty place. For that reason, I attempted to make "the first step" so that I could fill this lack. My "first step" became the research of the olderst well-preserved pictures with the theme of Christ's nativity. The primary subject of my work is characterization of a content side of this...
