Healthy lifestyle parameters assessment in patients with type 2 diabetes mallitus and fatty liver

This bachelor thesis assessed several parameters of healthy lifestyle and potential liver steatosis presence in patients with diabetes mellitus type 2. In the first part there are descriptions of liver, pancreas, diabetes mellitus type 2, metabolic syndrome, and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). Further there is a characterisation of Mediterranean diet with its main features and health effects. Practical part is dealing with a questionnaire survey in patients with diabetes mellitus type 2 referred to abdominal ultrasound examination. There were 19 questions focused on healthy lifestyle (consummation of vegetables, fruits, fish, use of olive oil, drinking tea or coffee, eating of sweets, and drinking of alcohol) and questions assessing knowledge of the Mediterranean diet, physical activity, duration of diabetes, family history of diseases of affluence and hepatoprotective medication use. Age, gender and basic anthropometric data and result of sonographic examination for presence of liver steatosis were recorded. A total of 92 patients (71 men / 21 women) average age 65 years. The theme of this thesis is History and technology of ice cream mix production. First part of thesis is aimed on history of ice cream mix and it’s enlargement. In the next part there are characterized each raw material which are needed for production. Thesis describes every technology step during production of ice cream mix - mixing the mixture, pasteurization, homogenization, freezing, maturation, drying and packaging. Following chapter contains description of microbiological quality of ice creams and summarization of currently valid legislation. Finally, thesis specifies process of sensory analysis and there is also small questionnaire research of availability and popularity ice creams flavors in Czech Republic.
Green Marketing in the Digital Age

The goal of the Green Marketing in the Digital Age Bachelor's thesis is to contribute to the Czech discourse on green marketing with contemporary findings, explore the relations among the classical marketing theory, the green movement and new opportunities of the digital age as well as to analyse the current situation in the area of green marketing on the Czech market. The theoretical part recapitulates the historical evolution of green marketing, describes the current situation, and suggests prospective future progress in the area. Furthermore, it focuses on the main challenges in the communication of environmental themes and sets them in the context of the digital age, new media and its advantages that may hold the key to solving said challenges. Finally, it provides two sets of good practice principles for responsible and website communication. The practical part draws up on the theoretical one with the use of selected principles from each set as the assessment criteria for analysing the style and quality of green communication on corporate website across industries. The results of the analysis provide a compact overview in the form of numeric scores and an additional commentary for each industry.
