Foraging strategies of invertebrate predators in mountain lakes
Hrdličková, Jana ; Sacherová, Veronika (advisor) ; Hořická, Zuzana (referee)
In mountain lakes, which were affected by acidification in the past or in the present, invertebrate species have become top predators and they influence the whole community. This thesis deals with foraging strategies of three of these predators, Cyclops abyssorum and Heterocope saliens (Crustacea: Copepoda) and Glaenocorisa propinqua (Insecta: Heteroptera) in the model localities Černé lake, Plešné lake and Prášilské lake. The main aim was the determination of food composition and food preferences of these predators. The quality and quantity of consumed food I investigated with a microscope using a method which has not been published yet. To make a microscope preparation I used Potassium hydroxide or Lactic acid in order to dissolve soft organic matter, so that the chitinous particles were well visible. The found food of animal origin was subsequently compared with the prey availability with the use of Jacobs' index. In addition to this research, a feeding experiment with G. propinqua was carried out. The food of all the invertebrate predators was dependent on food availability or eventually on the season of the year. G. propinqua mostly preferred as a prey members of Daphniidae family and then the species Polyphemus pediculus (Cladocera), if they were available (Prášilské lake). In Plešné lake,...
ICT technology as a medium of education for children with multiple disabilities, includint the visual impaired
Hakr Hrdličková, Jana ; Mlčková, Marie (advisor) ; Šumníková, Pavlína (referee)
The aim of the diploma thesis is to find out the importance of ICT as a means for the education of pupils with combined disabilities with dominant visual disabilities. It can be said that the importance of ICT in the education of people with disabilities is higher than that of the intact population, because people with disabilities can use ICT as a compensatory aid when they are able to compensate for some disadvantages due to disability Individual. In order to ascertain the importance of ICT as a means of education of disabled people, a research was carried out between pedagogical staff teaching people with disabilities in special schools or special classes of elementary schools. The high importance of ICT in the education of pupils with disabilities was confirmed by both the research and the search of specialized literature. The research method will be qualitative interviews. Key words a person with disabilities, information and communication technologies, combined disability, visual impairment, integration, inclusion
A corpus stylistic perspective on Lewis Carroll's "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland"
Hrdličková, Jana ; Čermáková, Anna (advisor) ; Malá, Markéta (referee)
The goal of the present thesis is a corpus stylistic analysis of Alice in Wonderland (1865), and it presents the possibilities of using corpus methods in the study of literary texts. In the theoretical part, the thesis is concerned with an explanation of the words norm, foregrounding, deviance and prominence (Leech, 2008), which are key terms in stylistics. The text then focuses in detail on various concerns connected to keywords and clusters, which are investigated later on in the theoretical part. The relation of keywords to the reference corpus and aspects of the length and frequency of occurrence of clusters are analyzed. An important element in a corpus-based analysis is that it is supposed to decrease bias, as the researcher studies statistically based significant markers of the text. The next part of the thesis focuses on the position of Alice in Wonderland between other members of the children's literature of the Golden Age (Knowles & Malmkjaer, 1995), and the role of nonsense and non-observance of pragmatic principles of interaction in the text. The reference corpora are described and primary hypotheses stated. In the practical part, keywords are studied first. They are divided into part of speech categories and interpreted from the point of view of their role and mutual relations in the text....

Importance of special education care during the upbringing and education cihldren with dysgenesis corpus callosum
Hakr Hrdličková, Jana ; Šumníková, Pavlína (advisor) ; Durdilová, Lucie (referee)
This thesis deals with the special pedagogical support to upbringing and education of children with the condition of dysgenesis corpus callosum. In order to achieve a complex approach and view of the problematic I am first describing the nature of the disability. Later on in the thesis I am then over viewing different approaches and concepts of education for children with the condition of combined disability. However, the key part of my theses is a casuistry of a young girl suffering from dysgenesis corpus callosum and I am analyzing how her education was and is influenced by her special education teachers.
