Design of manufacturing technology of a composite part using out of autoclave prepregs
Tellinger, Adam ; Gregor, Lukáš (referee) ; Kupčák, Radim (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with the production of a composite part from prepregs using non-autoclave technology. The first part of the thesis is research of composite materials and composite manufacturing technologies. This is followed by a section that focuses on non-autoclave methods of manufacturing composite parts using prepregs. The practical part includes the design of several prototype production variants of the specified part and subsequent production of the part. The output is an evaluation of the achieved results, a comparison of the various production methods, the selection of a suitable production technology variant, and the creation of a technological guideline for this chosen method of composite part manufacturing.
Manufacturing of a composite part using out of autoclave prepregs
Krátký, Jan ; Gregor, Lukáš (referee) ; Kupčák, Radim (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the production of a composite part using out-of-autoclave prepregs. The theoretical part describes composite materials, their properties and different manufacturing technologies with special emphasis on prepregs and the curing process. The practical part includes test specimen design, mould preparation, prepreg placement, lamination and curing. Three laminations were carried out using different technologies. The results show that the surface quality of the composite parts is significantly affected by the mould quality and curing pressure. Atmospheric pressure proved insufficient to achieve the desired surface quality of the moulded parts during vacuum pressing. The main conclusion of the paper is that off-autoclave technologies have the potential to produce high quality composite parts, but require further optimization of processes and materials.
Production of composite materials using vacuum infusion
Ciran, Adam ; Gregor, Lukáš (referee) ; Zouhar, Jan (advisor)
The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis deals with the definition of composite material, then the division of the most used fabric reinforcements and matrices, with a focus on reinforcements made of glass and carbon fiber and flax fiber. It then discusses vacuum infusion techniques, their description and applications. In the practical part, emphasis is placed on the fabrication of specimens using vacuum infusion technology of carbon fiber, glass fiber and flax using an epoxy matrix. The last part is the evaluation of the fabricated samples.
Measuring cycles in control systems of CNC machines
Hamřík, Jiří ; Jaroš, Aleš (referee) ; Gregor, Lukáš (advisor)
In the first two points, the bachelor's thesis focuses on the comparison of CNC and NC machines and methods of control and programming of CNC machines, a description of the control system of CNC machines from selected producers and the characteristics of measuring cycles. Two producers were selected to describe the technology of measuring tools and workpieces using probes. In the third point of the bachelor's thesis, a practical demonstration of measurements with tool and workpiece probes from RENISHAW is performed. A tool correction was performed followed by measurement of the workpiece with a probe. For statistical evaluation, digital micrometer measurements were added, including comparison and evaluation of the obtained results.
Application of a reusable vacuum membrane for production of fiber reinforced plastics
Talavášek, Václav ; Zouhar, Jan (referee) ; Gregor, Lukáš (advisor)
The thesis focuses on the manufacturing process of the composites with fiber reinforcement and polymer matrix. The theoretical part contains a description of conventional manufacturing processes. The experimental part of the thesis was based on the design modification of an old convention mold. The aim was to make design changes for the usage of a vacuum membrane. On the mold were made several tests. The goal was to find out the design faults of the mold. The next chapter focuses on the economic comparison of the conventional process and the reusable vacuum membrane process. The last chapter focuses on the design of a new mold, which is going to be utilized for mass production.
Improvement of the Company Marketing Strategy
Gregor, Lukáš ; Křetínská, Erika (referee) ; Chlebovský, Vít (advisor)
The master’s thesis aim is a proposal of an improvement of the company marketing strategy. The analyzed company is involved in a providing of complex services which correlate with realm of internet presentations, web design, online shops and internet marketing. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on explaining the problems of marketing, strategy and company business environment, online business and the way to improve company marketing strategy. The analytical part is engaged in analysis from a viewpoint of contemporary strategy, marketing, company operation, market research, business environment and currently offered services. The final part of the thesis includes proposals to improve the company marketing strategy and it mentions effects on current particular factors.
Eddy current sensors
Gregor, Lukáš ; Fidler, Petr (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
This master’s thesis discourses the problematics of eddy current sensors of transformer type dedicated for measuring non-contact distances of unferomagnetic and feromagnetic objects. This thesis contains the design, realization and finding of the optimal values for the sensor usage. The sensor properties are measured and certified by empirical calculations and simulations in the Comsol Multiphysics programme.
Precise bonding of composite materials
Tellinger, Adam ; Gregor, Lukáš (referee) ; Kupčák, Radim (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of bonding composite materials. The first part of the bachelor's thesis is focused on research into the production of composite materials and gluing technologies. The content of the practical part is the design of test specimens and a preparation for their bonding with subsequent production. Furthermore, verification of compliance with the required accuracy of bonded joints when using different adhesives using 3D measurements.
Production technology for mechanical seal flanges
Stoklasa, Patrik ; Gregor, Lukáš (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the current technological process of the mechanical seal flange production. It contains an analysis of all tool and material equipment, the process itself and it describes selected cutting conditions and measuring aids. Variant production of technology is also characterized here, where the applied changes are described and explained in order to achieve lower costs from an economic point of view. Both variants are finally compared and evaluated.
Manufacturing concept of a composite swing arm
