Housing estates and their author's reflection ABSTRACT The housing estate itself and its development represent a fascinating topic that encompasses a wide range of aspects from urban planning and architecture to social and cultural phenomena. The central theme of the thesis is the environment of panel housing estates and their reflection in the author's and didactic parts. In the theoretical part, the thesis addresses the idea of the emergence, realization, and development of housing estates in the area of the capital city of Prague. It focuses on the relationships of the housing estate with other elements of the city and studies them in sociological, political, and geographical contexts. It deals with the theme of the place itself, its character, and its recording. It seeks connections of the topic in art, architecture, and urbanism and interprets them into the didactic and practical parts. The didactic part is based on the findings obtained in the theoretical part and proposes their use in visual arts classes. Using mental maps, it explores the environment of housing estates from the perspective of elementary school students. Transformations of manipulation in Czech photography at the turn of 20th and 21st centuries

The bachelor thesis deals with the problematics, which has existed since the inception of photography and is constantly becoming more and more current - manipulation in photography. Over a brief overview of the history of photography and the development of manipulation in photography in pre - and (post-) digital production, the thesis focuses primarily on the transformations of manipulation in photography, prompted by the arrival of digital technology in the Czech Republic. The issue is demonstrated through several artists who, from the 1990 s onwards, began to work with new possibilities of manipulation in photography, thus disrupting the traditional view of this medium. In the didactic part, the work focuses on techniques of manipulation with photography that can be used in art classes, especially at the second level of primary schools and secondary schools. The practical part presents a series of author's photographs that disrupt the stereotype of everyday life by means of editing. Contemporary forms of photography in art education

This diploma thesis focuses on the utilization of contemporary photography in art education and its influence on the development of creativity and perception of art among primary and secondary school students. The theoretical part of the thesis presents the evolution of photography over the last thirty years, including definitions of new terms and directions, and introduces the most important authors of this period. In the didactic part of the work, educational programs working with contemporary photography for general high school students are designed, implemented, and evaluated. Finally, an author's portfolio reflecting trends in contemporary fine art photography is presented. The aim of the thesis is to explore various methods and strategies that enable the effective inclusion of digital and post-digital photography in art education and to analyze the benefits of this approach for the development of visual thinking and expressiveness of pupils. Authorial Book as a Resource for Museum Education

The work focuses on the use of author's books in an educational environment. The theoretical part deals with the definition of museum pedagogy. It deals with the relationship between the gallery and the school and singles out the principles of gallery and museum education. It also describes the work of a museum pedagogue. Emphasis will also be placed on the issue of the concept of an author's book. The theoretical part further deals with the creation of educational materials and their subsequent analysis of selected cultural institutions. The analysis is carried out on current textbooks and worksheets from the educational giants of art education and Czech language and literature. At the same time, it defines their current concept. In the practical part, the work deals with the creation of the author's educational book, which is based on the findings of the theoretical part. Experience in The Artwork and in The Gallery Space

The theoretical part of the thesis is comprised of three interrelated areas: the exhibition as a medium, space, and curation. The chosen areas each include a presentation of the development of space. The thesis explores elements that transform the audience's overall experience of visiting an exhibition and the audience's impression of the displayed piece. The chapter which follows the facilitator's role in the exhibit determines the most common causes of the public's dismissive stance towards art. The third chapter is focused on curation and introduces the curator's role. The practical part of the thesis proposes solutions for a three-dimensional installation and offers means of linking artworks to their surroundings. In relation to the subject of the public's detachment from art, the thesis explores art from the viewpoint of the audience and the audience's experience. The thesis aims at designing an arrangement that aids in bettering the relationship between the public, the gallery, and art, through the use of gallery education. The practical part involves the author's project - a curatorial conception for which thematic series are provided in the didactic part. Comics in contemporary Czech children's literature

The diploma thesis is focused on the topic of comics in Czech modern children's literature with an emphasis on the creative creation of comics. The work consists of three parts - theoretical, practical and didactic. In the theoretical part, this concept is divided according to criteria - to define the term comics, to its czech history of comics and to the spread of comics in Czech modern children's literature. In this section are mentioned specific Czech works and Czech authors who are dedicated to this topic. Selected authors are interviewed about their journey to comics. The practical part is dedicated to the project, the comic book Today I will be offline which is created in the form of comics and is intended for children of younger school age. The second project, which is part of the practical part, is the application of comics in art education at a selected primary school. 1 ABSTRACT In which situations have I found myself as an aspiring and later as a beginning teacher? How do I experience my affiliation with this profession today? What roles shape me as an educator? How do they influence my views on education? How do they impact my professional identity? The beginning of a professional career is a transitory and transformative period, crucial for further development, and builds upon various past experiences that date back to childhood. The theoretical part of this study navigates between social science, pedagogical, and artistic discourse. It draws on contemporary art that offers an approach to questions of identity and subjectivity, exemplified by works from authors such as Margit Titlová, Rineke Dijkstra, Marlene Dumas, Cindy Sherman, among others. The research section maps, through the analysis of autobiographical records, various situations and roles I encountered at the beginning of my career, as well as during the period leading up to this career. The autobiographical research oscillates between an artistic approach and an approach based on qualitative research, emphasizing the tension between the internal and external dimensions of identity. Children's book and ecology

The aim of this diploma thesis is to map the offer of children's books with ecological themes in the Czech Republic and to create author's own book with a methodological manual for environmental education. In the theoretical part, suitable topics will be researched in books about ecology for environmental education aimed at first grade of primary school and an analysis of children's books focused on ecology will be made. The practical part is devoted to project days, when author's own book is being used, and in the end, a questionnaire concerning the teaching environment at the first grade of primary school is demonstrated. Visual diary - His creation and use in education

The bachelor's thesis deals with a visual diary and it's creation. At the very beginning of the work is a theoritical part, containing an introduction to the diary and subsequently the necessary information about its brief history, creation, types, binding, tools and other necessary technical parameters suitable for creating a diary. In this part of the work, you will also get to know several important Czech and world artists, who are or have been involved in creating a diary and have a close or even deeper relationship with it. Their presentation is intended to serve as an inspiration, thanks to which we can understand the different perceptions of the diary. In this thesis, their life is very briefly introduced, followed by their work and primarily focused on the diary. Next, there is a practical part, in which it is possible to look into my creation of the diary, my thought processes that I had during the creation, and finally it contains a few photos from the diary as examples. At the end of the work, we come to the didactic part discussing the inclusion and use of the diary in education. At the end, you will find suggestions for art education lessons in connection with the diary.
