Influence of dynamic and static warm-up on muscle strength in climbers.
Formánková, Dita ; Vomáčková, Helena (advisor) ; Nováková, Tereza (referee)
Title Influence of dynamic and static warm-up on muscle strength in climbers. Objective The aim of the thesis is to assess the influence of dynamic warm-up with Thera-Band and static stretching on maximal muscle strength and its time parameters of finger flexors in dominant upper extremity in climbers. Methods Eight active climbers participated in this testing (age 32.4 ± 5.5, body weight 69.4 ± 6.5, height 176 ± 6.4). Actual performance RP was according to the French scale ranging 6b to 8a. Probands' measurements proceeded in three different days. After a specific warm-up on "boulder wall" and static stretching and dynamic warm-up with Thera-Band without stretching, there was maximal muscle strength of fingers flexors on dominant (preferred) upper limb measured by using a specific climbing test on hangboard. The second measurement assessed maximal strength of finger flexors muscle and its time parameters while proceeding of the maximum hand-grip using a hand dynamometer. Results In the experiment, none of the hypotheses came to be confirmed. There was no significant influence of static stretching and dynamic warm-up with Thera-Band on maximal muscle strength of finger flexors and the time parameters in climbers. Conclusion Despite the failure to prove the influence of the static stretching and...
Case Study of physioterapy treatment of a patient after hemoragic stroke with left hemiparesis
Formánková, Dita ; Neuwirthová, Svatava (advisor) ; Aronová, Lucie (referee)
Title: Case study of physioterapy treatment of a patient after hemoragic stroke with left hemiparesis. Objectives: The aim of the thesis is to obtain academic findings about stroke concerning anatomy, pathology, therapetuic approaches and methods which can be utilised in cases of stroke. The specific part focuses on the therapeutic care of a patient after hemorragic stroke which was taken during a month practice at Rehabilitation clinic Malvazinky, Medditera s.r.o. Summary: The theory of the thesis discusses anatomy and pathology of human brain in terms of strokes. There is a brief mention of ischemic strokes and a detailed elaboration on hemorraghic strokes. Furthemore, the same part of the thesis epitomizes the risk factors and diagnosis of strokes. There is also a detailed treatise on the physioterapeutic care of stroke. The practice of the thesis introduces a case study of physioterapy treatment of a patient after hemoragic stroke with left hemiparesis. Keywords: Stroke, hemoragic stroke, hemiparesis, shoulder pain, physiotherapeutic technique and methods.
Current state of skialpinism
Formánková, Dita ; Vomáčko, Ladislav (advisor) ; Baláš, Jiří (referee)
Title: The current state of racing ski mountaineering Aim: Goal of this thesis is to collect current information on ski mountaineering race, physiological characteristics of selected skialpinists, document pulse load skialpinists at selected sites and to prepare a thesis. method: The analysis of texts, field and laboratory testing, monitoring longitudiální skialpinists. results: The system of competition is currently at the World Championships, European Championships, World Cup and others. In the Czech Republic held a series of Czech and Central European Cup. Races are held in the form of "start-finish", vertical, couples, and relay Ralley. All tested individuals reach high to very high preparedness the measured values (VO2max, etc.) The value of percent body fat is responsible for all values reported by individuals for sporting population. Heart load measured at sites correspond to the type of race and all the circumstances. Keywords: Ski touring, ski mountaineering competitions, heart rate (load), aerobic load anaerobic load, maximum oxygen consumption (VO2max)
Comparison of universal and specific functional stress tests of ski- mountaineerers
Formánková, Dita ; Vomáčko, Ladislav (advisor) ; Heller, Jan (referee)
Title: Comparison of universal and specific functional stress tests of ski-mountaineerers. Objectives: The aim of the thesis is to compare maximal functional parameters of ski-mountaineerers measured during three functional laboratory stress tests. The functional stress tests were set on a treadmill, bicycle ergometer, and on a ski-mountaineer trainer. Consecutively, there is evaluated the meaning of testing of the functional parameters on the ski-mountaineer trainer. Methods: Interindividual and intraindividual descriptive study of 10 ski-mountaineerers of middle and high level performance. Results: The respondents reached the average value of VO2max 63,3 ml.kg-1 .min-1 on the ski-mountaineer trainer, 67,5 ml.kg-1 .min-1 on a treadmill and 66,5 ml.kg-1 .min-1 on a bicycle ergometer. The average measured HR on the ski-mountaineer trainer was 179 heartbeats/min, on the treadmill 185 heartbeats/min and on the bycicle ergometer 183 heartbeats/min. The average value of R reached the value of 1,09 on the ski-mountaineer trainer, 1,18 on the treadmill and 1, 19 on the bycicle ergometer. The highest measured value of VO2max reached on the treadmill was 79,3 ml.kg-1 .min-1 , the bycicle ergometer enabled to reach maximum 76,5 ml.kg-1 .min-1 and the highest value reached on the ski-mountaineer trainer was...
