Multi-function sports hall

This thesis deals with the design of the construction of multi-funcion sports hall. Hall ground plan dimensions are 36 x 48 m. Height of the hall is 18 m. Sports hall is designed for common sports as handball, football, tennis, volleyball, basketball etc. Construction is designed in the Šumperk locality. It is a curved construction of glued laminated timber. The hall is made of cross- binding - triple joint arches in the shape of circle. Individual cross-binding are distanced 4 m. Arcs are connected by purlins. The stability of the whole construction is toughened by four areas.
Footbridge

This thesis deals with the design and assessment of the wooden footbridge. The structure is designed for the locality of the village Loučná nad Desnou acrros the river Desná. Span of the footbridge is 30m, and the width is 4m. The footbridge is covered with a saddle roof. The main supporting elements are two triple joint arcs with intermediate bridge deck. The bridge deck is made of two main beams and nine cross members, with always two longitudinal members in between them. Roofing is of nine cross-bindings, which are connected by purlins and top purlin. The stability of the whole structure is stiffened by the horizontal longitudinal stiffeners in the top and bottom surface and vertical longitudinal stiffener in the roof. The main load-bearing elements are made of glued laminated timber, the other elements are made of solid timber. Stiffeners are made of steel rods.

Organizational culture in business and non-profit organizations

The thesis deals with the issue of organizational culture in two completely different environments of non-profit and business organizations. The main subject of applied research is analysis of the individual elements of organizational culture, among which special attention is paid to issues of leadership style and leadership in general. This to be always in the context of appropriate organizational culture with all its features. The first part deals with the theoretical definition of basic concepts and prepares the basis for an analysis of the main aspects of both environments from the perspective of individual components cultures with an emphasis on leadership, as such. The objective is to describe the main differences from both studied environmenta and derive recommendations for executives from non-profit as well as business organizations.
Corporate culture in cultural organizations

This bachelors thesis deals with the corporate culture and its forms in organizations that deal with cultural goods. This work describes particular cultural project from the aspect of two different approaches to corporate culture of two entirely different entities, first is the Prague's non-profit organization and second is a private company. Paper offers a definition of the two corporate cultures in two different types of organizations and also the analysis of their basic elements, which at the end, merge into a single cultural system. All the individual characteristics of different business environments are put into a broader context, where they are drawn to their particular impact on internal and external business processes in relation to the described cultural project. In the first theoretical part are basic concepts such as corporate culture, cultural organizations etc. The practical part of the text is focused on the specific case of a conflict of two different corporate cultures.
