The influence of tempering process for properties of boron steel

This bachelor thesis deals with the problem of the occurrence of residual austenite in the crossbar of a harvester forestry tracks during tempering after a longer period of time. The chosen material is boron steel 27MnCrB5-2. The experiment is carried out by comparing three samples, the first is tempered immediately after quenching, the second is tempered 48 hours after quenching and the third is not tempered. According to preliminary calculations of cooling rates and Mf temperature, the presence of residual austenite is unlikely. On all metallographic smears, an identical martensitic-bainitic structure can be observed by optical microscopy. On a scanning microscope, both tempered materials show lower bainite with carbides within the ferritic lamellae. Only the quenched sample has carbides that are difficult to distinguish from the martensitic structure, but no evidence of residual austenite. Based on the hardness measurements, the quenched crossbar has the highest hardness. According to the corresponding curve in the CCT diagram, the hardness corresponds to the bainitic structure. The occurrence of residual austenite was definitely ruled out by X-ray diffraction at less than 2% resolution of the equipment used

Complete implementation of pulse oximeter

This thesis deals with the design of a pulse oximeter. The resulting device allows to measure human blood oxygen saturation and heart rate in a non-invasive way. Easy portability is enabled by battery power supply and the used colour graphical display ensures clear display of the measured data. The paper describes in general terms the principle of pulse oximetry, a description of the chosen electronic components and the firmware developed to ensure the device's operation. Verification of correct operation was performed by comparing the measurements with similar devices available on the market.

Multifunctional building

The subject of the master’s thesis is the project documentation of building work for multifunctional building. The object has three floors. The structural system of the building is bricked. The roof of the building is flat and the terraces are designed as vegetation and walking. On the mainfloor there are situated commercial spaces, building technical facilities and seven residential units. On the second floor there is space for commercial use and seven residential units and on the last floor there is also space for commercial use and one residential units.

This Bachelor´s thesis processes design of standalone single-storeyed family house with attic, without cellared. The construction system of this building is lightweight frame system. Its benefits are good thermal technical properties and reduced construction time. The documentation is Works for building construction. The design documentation of the thesis is elaborated by computer program AutoCAD.

Design of heating system reconstruction for family house after complete overcladding

The thesis deals with the reconstruction of the heating system for a family house after complete overcladding. The first part is dedicated to an introduction of the subject under consideration. The next step is the calculation of heat loss.. A suitable method of insulation including economical recovery was designed according to the research of potential insulation materials, then heat loss were re-calculated. Another point is to determine a suitable temperature gradient and select the most appropriate source of heat and hot water preparation. The pressure loss circuit through the various radiators were calculated and balanced by thermostatic radiator valves. Finally, the insurance elements of the heating system were checked and the drawings documentation were prepared.

This bachelor's thesis deals with the design of equipment for monitoring the internal environment of the cabin of a passenger car. Equipment suitable for measuring force, atmospheric pressure, humidity, possible noise level and noise level. The main control element of the device is a microcontroller providing communication with the used sensors. The available data is shown on the display and is stored in memory. For communication with a computer, it is possible to use the USB interface using stored data that can be analyzed and processed.

The diploma thesis on the topic Kindergarten is processed in the form of project documentation for the implementation of the building. The building is designed to plot 12288 in the cadastral Vsetín. It is a new kindergarten with two floors. The building is brick, It is covered by single-layer flat roof. The building contains three classes for a total of 75 children, also has its own kitchen and pottery.

Operational efficiency of boilers

The topic of this diploma thesis is the operational efficiency of heat sources. The work had several goals. The first was to determine the efficiency of the wood boiler according to available calculation methods and to compare the methods among them. The second was to determine the difference in the performance of the flue gas analyzer and the real calculation. Further, to determine the efficiency of a boiler firing different wood species - spruce and hornbeam based on their properties and elemental composition. Experimental measurement of various operating states of effectiveness took place in an older two-generation family house, which was also the subject of the project part. Due to lack of project documentation, it was necessary to focus and plot the object. Afterwards, the building was thermally inspected and the design of the heating system and the reconstruction of the whole heating system was carried out. The project was developed in two variants for two different heat sources - a heat pump and a solid fuel boiler for heating and water preparation. The thesis deals with the technical report, the conceptual solution of the related professions, the evaluation of the heat source variants and the project documentation.

Heating of residential building with establishment

The bachelor thesis solves in the computational part design of heating and hot water in historically protected residential building in Chrudim. The theoretical part is about radiators. The building consists of two functional parts.The first part is constituted of a law office with social facilities. The second part consists of a space of an acommodation unit. This part is linked with an attic of the acommodation unit by a two-ply stairs. The heat source for this building is a gas condensing boiler. The heating surface consist of sectional radiators. Part of the work is a budget. The aim of the thesis " Heating of residential building with establishment" is to achieve heat comfort of all occupants.
