Chmelová, Klára ; Kaňák, Jan (advisor) ; Stretti, Sylvie (referee)
This thesis explores the subjective experience of power of workers in low threshold facilities for children and youth. It presents definitions of power, approaches to power in social work, the use of power in relation to the client, and discusses the concepts of control and help, powerlessness, empowerment and authority. It also mentions the definition, objectives and methods of low threshold facilities for children and youth. The aim of the paper was to answer the main research question "What is the experience of workers in low threshold facilities for children and youth with power?" The answer to this was obtained through semi-structured interviews with four workers in low threshold facilities for children and youth. An interpretative phenomenological analysis method was used to analyse the interviews. The analysis revealed that workers' experiences of power were predominantly felt in the form of influence and decision-making, both in their relationship with the client and in their work team. Furthermore, they experienced it in situations where they gave sanctions and set rules. They also perceived their experience of power in terms of themselves as authority figures. They also experienced a certain type of power in the form of powerlessness, help and empowerment.

Solid organ transplantation (SOT) represents a life-saving procedure and a future perspective for patients suffering from organ failure. On the other hand, SOT recipients are burdened with numerous complications, including infections or lifelong administration of immunosuppressive medication. There are several well-known factors related to graft and patient survival, including general health status, age at the time of SOT, diagnosis leading to SOT, acute or antibody-mediated rejection, development of the metabolic syndrome and complications including viral diseases. Viral infections in SOT recipients may present with a very distinct natural history compared with the healthy population. Several can cause immune activation leading to graft rejection; others can be associated more likely with immune tolerance. We aimed to identify the impact of variants of selected genes on the natural history of various viral diseases in SOT recipients and thus their overall outcome, morbidity and graft survival. Cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection is the most common viral infection in SOT recipients. We focused on the role of the IL28B rs12979860 locus genotype in the risk of CMV disease occurrence. We proved the T allele is associated with a more frequent occurrence of CMV disease in liver transplant (LTx) recipients...

The aim of my work was to find out how the time is being used during the PE (Physical Education) lessons at lower secondary schools. I was looking at contents of each part of the lesson, teacher's organizing and controlling activity, the number of pupils who did exercise and thein relation to time effectiveness of exercise unit. The work is dividend into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is dealing with a locomotor activity, physical education, physical education in Framework Educational Programme (for Elementary Education), PE teacher, organization and controlling PE class unit and effectivity of schooling the PE. The methods used in a practical part to solve the results were chronometer and observation. The surfy took place at lower secondary schools of four Primary schools in Kadaň. There have been observed fiflen exercise units altogether. KEY WORDS Use of time, exercise unit, physical education, chronometer, exercise time, losstime
