Work and life balance of female doctors in the Czech Republic

This bachelor thesis focuses on work and life balance of female doctors in the Czech Republic. Conflicting requirements of labour market, traditional division of gender roles, lack of institutional support for parents (insufficient number of establishment providing child care et.) and specific demands of being doctor complicate work and life balance. In the theoretical part were discussed key theories based on personal freedom of choices or structural barriers of labour market, specifics of medical profession and strategies of solution to avoid unsuccessful work and life balance. The aim of this thesis is to answer which barriers female doctors (having children) perceive in combination of work and family. The empirical part of this thesis focuses on analyzing results of quantitative study in three thematic areas - doctor profession, experience with maternity leave and barriers to work and life balance. Contemporary circus and its dance element

This thesis deals with the phenomenon of contemporary art, specifically with the contemporary circus. It describes the history of circus from the beginning to present and the reasons for degradation of its traditional forms. In detail this thesis deals with the new circus art - so called contemporary circus, which is based on the foundations of traditional circus. The main focus is on dance, acrobatic and performing arts, which are an integral part of the development of contemporary circus both in Czech Republic and abroad.
Body as a Tool for functional classical Dance

This thesis explores the human body on the basis of its anatomical disposition in connection with the functional principles which enable to develop the correct body posture, leg position en dehors, classical dance poses and coordination of movement leading to rotation and jump. In this thesis, I look upon the human body as the main dancer´s tool allowing to perform the classical dance technique and by the described functional principles, I attepmt to support the correct execution of individual parts of the classical dance technique. In conclusion of this thesis, I comment on general employing of these functional principles in classical dance lessons.
William Fosythe´s contemporary classical dance

This bachelor´s thesis renders the biography of William Forsythe and his initiators. Further, it deals with the principls which initiated the creation of Forsythe´s dance style and the ways how he develops them. It explores the aesthetic influence of by him generated shapes of movement, and it also analyse the essence of conveying this unconventional way of movcement expression. In the final part my thesis researches the funcionality of the individual parts of body. This funcionality contributes to creating Forsythe´s dance style and encourages dance pedagogues to incorporate the specific features of this dance style into the exercises of classical dance lessons.
