Publicism of the last period of the totalitarism (Rudé právo in 1989) The theme of the thesis is based on political journalism of the last period of the totalitarism in Czechoslovakia in 1989. The leading communist daily, Rudé právo 1989 is used as the main source of the analysis. The work is divided into two parts. The first part is related to the short historical review of the communism era in Czechoslovakia since the so called Victorious February in 1948 till 1988, when the first anti-government demonstrations occurred. The second part is focused on the critical historical moments in 1989 ("Palach Week" in January 1989, petition "A Few Sentences" in July 1989, anti-government protests in August and October 1989, the collapse of the communism regime in November caused by the Velvet Revolution, the unanimous vote by the Federal Assembly). Meanwhile there is a following practical part. Its main purpose is interpretation and analysis of the articles in order to show examples of the ideological influence of the language.

Autorka soustředila svou pozornost na významové etapy Havlíčkova života, které ovlivnily jeho politické smýšlení. Klíčová slova: revoluce - demokracie - liberalismus - novinářství - feuilleton - satira - epigram Annotation The aim of this graduate's thesis is to observe the development of democratic thinking of K. Havlíček Borovský through his selected works. The author has concentrated her attention on the specific periods of Havlicek's life that have influenced his political views. Selected problems of literary translation from Turkish to Czech

Cílem této diplomová práce bylo odhalit jevy, které při překládání současné umělecké literatury vyplývají z odlišnosti dvou jazykových systémů i reálií. Na základě analýzy tureckého literárního textu a jeho českého překladu byly pozorovány jazykové jevy a jejich korespondence mezi oběma jazyky, které byly posléze ohodnoceny z hlediska funkčního přístupu v překladu. Předmětem analýzy se stal překlad povídky "Frau Eva ya da karş komşu - Frau Eva aneb sousedka od vedle" předčasně zesnulé turecké novinářky a spisovatelky Duygu Aseny (1946-2006), která je považována za nejvýraznější představitelku ženské prózy v Turecku. Pro pochopení postojů tohoto žánru jsme se snažili v první kapitole stručně přiblížit historii a vývoj ženského hnutí a popsali situaci žen v dnešním Turecku a v Čechách. Rovněž jsme se domnívali, že tyto informace alespoň částečně mohou přispět k porozumění kulturních a historických odlišností v oblasti reálií a k zjištění, do jaké míry jsou reflektovány tyto problémy v turecké a české společnosti.

Czech language islands in Ukraine

Cílem bakalářské práce je prezentovat problematiku českého osídlení na Ukrajině. Výběr tématu není náhodný, neboť sám pocházím z krajanské rodiny. Z širokého spektra otázek jsem se soustředil na historii vzniku krajanské komunity na Ukrajině, na její rozvoj a současný stav. Práce je rozdělena do čtyř kapitol. První kapitola uvádí všeobecné důvody českého vystěhovalectví v druhé polovině 19. století. Druhá kapitola prezentuje české osídlení na Ukrajině. Popisuje postup přestěhování a historii osídlení území nové vlasti a založení některých českých obcí. Obsahem třetí kapitoly je popis životního stylu českých přestěhovalců, jejich tradic a zvýků. V několika částech této kapitoly se prezentuje také otázka školství, reemigrace krajanů do jejich historické vlasti a charakteristika současné situace v krajanských komunitách na Ukrajině, především však na Krymu. Čtvrtá kapitola je věnována jazykové charakteristice české komunity na Ukrajině. Při shromažďování studijního materiálu jsem vycházel z několika odborných prací věnovaných této problematice, z menších studií v různých vědeckých sbornících, z novinových článků a z vlastních materiálů týkajících se života české krajanské komunity na Krymu. Jaroslav Seifert's poetry from the period of poetism

This bachalor thesis deals with Jaroslav Seofert's poetry from the period of poetism. Poetism is one of the most fertile periods of the Czech literature and culture and Jaroslav Seifert belongs to its most significant representatives. The first part describes the history of the origin of the world Avant-garde and also the Czech avantgarde Devětsil, which played the leading role in the origin of Poetism. The second part aids directly to Poetism - its constitution, its program, its representatives etc. The third part describes the poetistic work by Jaroslav Seifert - the author's start and his top works in Poetism. The end of the third chapture points out the author's recede from the poetistic playfulness. The end of the study brings a summary of Jaroslav Seifert's life, stressing his poetistic work and highlighting Poetism as a phenomenon important to the development of the next poetic generations.

Quality of Life in Children with Epilepsy

This the Bachelor work deals with the life quality of children with epilepsy. In the theoretical part I mention the very illness of epilepsy its diagnostics and treatment. Further I focus on the quality of life from the general point of view and the quality of life in relation to the children with epilepsy as well. In the empirical part I survey with the helps of questionnaires how the children with epilepsy experience thein illness. eventually I analyse the acquired data.

This bachelor thesis deals with comparison of Czech and Vietnamese folk tales in order to find the same and different characteristics, which were caused by cultural differences in both areas. In the opening chapters author has described genre fairytale, she has also mentioned folk tales collectors and historical context of Czech and also Vietnamese collection. A separate chapter is devoted to the fairy tale Cinderella, in both cultures they are very similar, unlike other tales where we can only find the same (or different) motifs or themes. key words: folk tales, Czech folk tale, Vietnamese folk tale, folk tale collectors, Cinderella
