Draft of Corporate Financial Plan
Bernat, Roman ; Šanovec, Petr (referee) ; Karas, Michal (advisor)
Diploma thesis is based on finding out main financial planning issues. The first part of thesis is dealing with theoretical aspects, which are necessary to know for setting up a financial plan. After this part is the practical part, which includes detailed procedure for setting up a financial plan for company H.A.Kovochem. Financial plan is created in an optimistic and pessimistic alternative. The final part of the thesis is evaluation and control of these two alternatives of plans
Database application in JAVA language
Bernát, Michal ; Karásek, Jan (referee) ; Číka, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals about the MySQL database system and its connection with JAVA programming environment. It discusses the implementation of applications with data editing database tables. In the first theoretical part deals about connectivity to the database server using JDBC Connector and its types. Next it defining properties of connection and communication with FTP server. The thesis describes also the security of communication with server using SLL/TLS protocol. The practical part describes how to create the server side of project and the application in JAVA FX.
Implementation of UMTS package in NS2
Bernát, Michal ; Kovář, Petr (referee) ; Šimek, Milan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is in the first part focused to research of actual IPTV technologies in global and mobile networks and their processing. It compares IPTV's adventages and disadventages and as well presents actual czech and world-wide offers. There are also discussed other possibilities of mobile TV spreading. Second part deals with the simulation tool NS2 (Network Simulator 2), its description, installation and implementation of extension package for UMTS network simulations. There is created and described simulation with relatively simple scenario to illustrate possibilities of this extension. All practical demonstrations and the installation source codes, which had to be corrected because of compatibility with new versions of operating systems, are now attached to the DVD.
Dynamic Model of Medium Voltage Vacuum Circuit Breaker and Induction Motor for Switching Transients Simulation using Clarke Transformation
Pígl, Jan ; Bernat,, Petr (referee) ; Ferková, Želmíra (referee) ; Cipín, Radoslav (advisor)
Derivation of the dynamic model of medium voltage vacuum circuit breaker and induction motor in space vectors in coordinates 0 allow us to model switching transients in various dynamic states of the motor. In the case of the Clarke transformation, the corresponding numerical integration technique can be selected including variable time-step integration techniques to avoid numerical instabilities due to the stiffness of the system. Assymetrical operations such as switching cause that power system becomes unbalanced and the transformed equations , and 0 are not uncoupled. Therefore it is necessary to derive a coupling matrix between circuit breaker voltages and currents in the coordinate system 0. The behavior of the dynamic model was experimentally verified on a laboratory model during the transition between balanced and unbalanced states of the system. The subject of our interest are switching overvoltages that arise when turning off small inductive currents by a vacuum circuit breaker. When deriving the model of a vacuum circuit breaker, all its properties encountered during this action were taken into account, i.e. current chop, virtual current chop, dielectric barrier in the circuit breaker and its recovery rate and the ability of the vacuum circuit breaker to extinguish high frequency currents. Dynamic model is further extended by overvoltage protections and frequency-dependent line model. Simulation results are compared with the measured results on a medium voltage motor and as well as with the simulation results of the mathematical model of the test circuit according to IEC 62271-110 resolved using nodal method (EMTP algorithm). Models are implemented in the MATLAB/Simulink programming environment.
Use VBA as a Tool for the Creation of Supporting Business Applications
Kadlec, Aleš ; Bernát, Michal (referee) ; Dydowicz, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on the design and implementation of an application for a spare parts warehouse. The main goal of the application is to create names of spare parts. This application also allows to export the stock statuses, to get the list of created photo documentation and to upload data from the source file of the spare parts finder application. The application is implemented in Microsoft Excel environment in VBA language. The application will be used in the spare parts warehouse, where it aims to streamline work and unify the names of individual parts of a particular category.
Radial approach to coronary catheterizations and interventions
Bernat, Ivo ; Rokyta, Richard (advisor) ; Vojáček, Jan (referee) ; Ošťádal, Petr (referee)
Radial approach in coronary catheterizations and interventions has been only an alternative of the femoral approach. But due to some important advantages radial approach has a chance to become the first choice in majority of catheterized patients. The most important advantage is the reduction of vascular access site bleeding complications. Additonal benefits are patient satisfaction, cost reduction, shorter hospital stay and possibility of the same-day discharge catheterizations and interventions. The aim of our work was to try to answer three open questions: 1. is it possible to catheterize majority of our patients from the left radial artery when 90% of them are right-handed ? 2. what is the optimal care for the radial artery after the procedure in prevention and treatment of radial artery occlusion? 3. is it effective to implement radial approach in primary PCI as a first approach for STEMI patients? The first part relates the left radial approach. After construction of our special variable support for the left arm and forearm we succesfully used this approach in our studies in almost 90% of patients. The second part of this work contains our randomized trial comparing two different doses of unfractionated heparin in prevention of radial artery occlusion after diagnostic cardiac catheterizations....
Radial Approach in Therapy of Ischemic Heart Disease
Jirouš, Štěpán ; Bernat, Ivo (advisor) ; Toušek, Petr (referee) ; Hlinomaz, Oto (referee)
Presently, coronary catheterizations and interventions are more often performed by a radial artery approach than by a previously dominant femoral artery approach due to the lower incidence of both local and systemic complications. In addition, based on evidence of lower mortality associated with this approach, the radial approach has received class IA recommendation in the 2015 European Society of Cardiology (ESC) guidelines for interventional treatment of NSTEMI, in the 2017 ESC guidelines for STEMI and lately in the 2018 ESC guidelines for other forms of ischemic heart disease. Although a large number of studies concerning the radial approach have been published, many questions remain unanswered; for example, the evaluation of the radial approach in patients with myocardial infarction complicated with cardiogenic shock. The assessment of radial artery occlusion as the most frequent local complication of this approach has been very heterogeneous so far both in terms of different methods of detection that were used and timing of their application. Thus, there are still possibilities to further reduce the incidence of local complications and to optimize methodology of radial artery occlusion detection. In this dissertation thesis we address the issue of interventional treatment via radial artery access site...

Financial analysis of company Air navigation services of the Czech republic
Bernat, Matyáš ; Staňková, Anna (advisor) ; Marek, Petr (referee)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with financial analysis of a company Air navigation services of the Czech Republic. It is divided into three parts. The first part describes methods, users and sources of financial analysis. The second part is focused on the description of company´s core business and it´s structure. The last part consists of horizontal and vertical analysis and analysis of several selected ratio indicators. We subsequently test financial stability with one bankrupcy and one solvency model both of which prove that the company is in a stable financial situation with minimal chance of entering bankruptcy. Such result is essential for the company´s core business.
