Control System and Visualization for a Promotional Robotic Vehicle
Lázničková, Jana ; Benešl, Tomáš (referee) ; Jirgl, Miroslav (advisor)
The thesis focuses on the software part of an autonomous robotic vehicle, designed for promotional purposes of the B:TECH company. As this is a feasibility test, the result of the work serves only as an idea of a suitable software design for the robotic vehicle with the possibility of using this control software in real operation. The possibilities of data exchange between the robotic vehicle and the master control system are presented. The proposed concept describes the control software ensuring cooperation between real and simulated vehicles in operation. Furthermore, a platform for a visualization application is designed to monitor and control the movement of the vehicles and transported shipments. Each vehicle in the application is updated with its current status.
SCARA control system
Cviček, Pavel ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (referee) ; Benešl, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the possibility of using a SCARA robot with an alternative control system from Beckhoff for 3D printing. The implemented functionalities will be described and the solution will be properly documented. Furthermore, currently occurring problems will be addressed and solutions will be proposed for them. For the proposed application, possible solutions will be described including a detailed design and control program for the implementation of the functionality. A tutorial will be included to guide the user through setting up the slicer and controlling the visualization.
Asset Administration Shell implementation
Maslowski, Jakub ; Marcoň, Petr (referee) ; Benešl, Tomáš (advisor)
This master's thesis builds upon the author's bachelor's thesis and gradually summarizes insights regarding Industry 4.0, Digital Twins, and primarily AAS. It focuses on describing AAS with regard to the necessary compromises from the theoretical concept of AAS to its practical implementation in the manufacturing process. The extensive practical part deals with the implementation of AAS in decentralized production into Siemens S7-1500 series PLC systems with OPC UA servers, including an individual solution for prioritized queue application. The counterpart representing products is a central AAS Hub Client implemented in Python. The results are presented in the form of testing on a network of 29 virtual PLCs.
Standard faceplate for WinCC Unified
Nepivoda, Tomáš ; Arm, Jakub (referee) ; Benešl, Tomáš (advisor)
The topic of this thesis originated from the requirements of Mechatronic Design & Solutions. Its primary goal is the transition to the visualization software SIMATIC WinCC Unified, focusing on the time efficiency of creating visualization applications. This work addresses the issue of automatic screen generation based on control software developed for Siemens PLC machines. The process of automatic screen generation itself involves several intermediate stages and complex steps. The thesis focuses on creating a theoretical foundation in the field of operator panels, the relevant standards for their creation, and descriptions of the software utilized. The practical part is dedicated to the development of company standards and the implementation of complex and universal functional blocks, for which separate service screens are created. The final section is devoted to the actual implementation of automatic generation in connection with the developed PLC program and the created HMI Screens.
Automated control unit tester
Halgoš, Matúš ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (referee) ; Benešl, Tomáš (advisor)
This article presents the research and development behind the automated testing device tailored for electronic control unit (ECU) E040, which controls turbojet engine TJ40 to enhance efficiency and reliability in the testing phase of ECU. The proposed device offers significant advantages over traditional manual testing methods, including reduced testing time and improved accuracy. This paper will give the reader necessary information about TJ40 engine and E040 ECU, then will provide the overall concept design behind automated testing device. The subject of this work is a comprehensive view of the design of a single-purpose test device for a turbojet engine control unit. The first part of the thesis is dedicated to the theory of testing, then the theoretical analysis is described in which the basic information about the control unit and the needs of testing are presented. The output of this section are documents, test cases and test procedures. In the second part of the thesis, schematic design of the test equipment was created from the test procedures and the functions of the individual blocks were described in detail, followed by a description of the creation of the PCB layout. The last chapter takes the reader through the process of bringing up the designed test equipment and the design of the internal wiring.
Industrial data logger
Matula, Ondřej ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (referee) ; Benešl, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design of an ON-LINE diagnostic system named as "industrial data concentrator". The thesis looks at the design itself in a comprehensive way and brings together parts such as defining useful diagnostic variables, a competitive comparison with already available commercial products and the actual design of the industrial data concentrator both in terms of hardware and software.
Control system for equipment using renewable energy sources
Novotný, Jan ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (referee) ; Benešl, Tomáš (advisor)
The work deals with design of power and control electronics for water micro source in island network. In the general part the readers are acquaints with the issue of renewable energy sources and describes commercially produced micro sources. The practical part deals with the design of its own control system and power electronics using its own control system or PLC for water micro source. The microcontrollers were used for the implementation of the control system, for which the program part was created.
Cartesian manipulator
Bačkovský, Tomáš ; Arm, Jakub (referee) ; Benešl, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deal with the design of the control of an industrial two-axis manipulator, which will serve as a palletizer of egg spacers. Part of the work is the theory and selection of actuators, description of individual parts of the manipulator. The practical part deals deals with designing of complete electrical documentation, completion of control software and visualization of the panel. Finally, the individual parts are tested on a real manipulator.
Datalogger of environmental values
Raichl, Petr ; Benešl, Tomáš (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
The thesis is aimed on construction of solar panel powered datalogger of environmental values. The thesis begins by research of commercial dataloggers. Then the concept of datalogger was created. Then the electronics of datalogger was designed. Datalogger is built as a system driven by microcontroller. The microcontroller reads data from sensors, writes data to memory card and sends data to Czech radiocommunications cloud by LoRa technology. Then the data are resend to MySQL database. Program for microcontroller was made in C language. Configuration of datalogger is done through USB interface by PC application which was created in C# language. For visualisation of measured data ASP.NET Core application was created.
Digital factory in the company Ravensburger Kraton s.r.o.
Kusý, Jan ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (referee) ; Benešl, Tomáš (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis discusses the analysis of the term digital factory and the related initiative Industry 4.0. The work is processed in cooperation with the company Ravensburger Karton s.r.o. based in Polička and part of the work is devoted to its description. Furthermore, an analysis of the current production monitoring system, which is based on the WorkMonitor monitoring device from company Papouch, is processed. The main goal of this work is to design and manufacture monitoring devices communicating both on the WiFi interface and using an Ethernet cable. The individual ideas of design and production of both devices are described. Finally, an analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the solution is performed, including a price comparison with the devices listed in the Market Research chapter.
