Additional equipment - Brush saw
Burian, Martin ; Malášek, Jiří (referee) ; Zeizinger, Lukáš (advisor)
This work deals with design of a circular saw as an attachment for skid steer loader. Attachment is used for felling and cutting woody plants. The introduction briefly describes machines that use these types of attachments and also describes some specific attachments from selected manufacturers. The following part of the work is design of own solution including the choice of components. The last part of the work deals with control and basic strength calculations of selected components. According to own design, 3D model of whole attachment is created and drawing documentation is made from this model.
Determination of volatile substances in wines of Hibernal variety
Burian, Martin ; Rychetský, Matěj (referee) ; Vítová, Eva (advisor)
The subject of the present bachelor thesis was the determination of aromatic substances in wines of the Hibernal variety and subsequent comparison of the aromatic profile of individual samples in order to investigate the possibilities of geographical authentication of these varietal wines on the basis of its volatile compounds content. In total, 19 samples from four Moravian sub-regions were analysed. The analysis of the aromatic profile was carried out using the HS-SPME-GC-MS technique. All samples were then subjected to descriptive statistical analysis. The results show that from the profile of 25 selected volatile compounds, the samples cannot be distinguished according to their place of origin.

Nekonvenční způsoby obrábění strojních součástí
Burian, Martin
The bachelor thesis deals with the summary and characteristics of the unconventional machining methods (used in the manufacture of machinery parts), such as chemical and electrochemical machining, electric discharge machining, ultrasonic machining, laser, plasma, or waterjet machining. The first section summarizes systematic distribution and characteristics of each methods. In each mentioned method, there is also a description of its machining principle and important conditions for the realization of the machining technology. The following section is devoted to their main advantages and disadvantages, including the typical fields of application of different unconventional technologies in technical practice. In the final chapter, there is a comparison of different methods depending on the surface quality - by achieved dimensional accuracy and surface roughness (Ra parameter).
Degradace motorového oleje v zahradní technice
Burian, Martin
The diploma thesis deals with the problematics of engine oils degradation in a garden machinery. In the theoretical part, there is a description of the basic functions and properties of engine oils, their production, composition and also used standard classifications. The practical part is devoted to evaluation of the degradation of five selected engine oils. There are described the oils, the selected garden machinery (five machines with a four-stroke spark-ignition engine) and also the sampling methodology and measuring devices. Two samples of oil were taken from each machine – a partially used and a used engine oil, which were compared with a new oil of the same specification and designation. For all samples, their dynamic viscosity (at 40 °C), density and amount of selected metal wear particles were measured. In the final chapter, the measured parameters are processed into a tables and graphs, and the results are discussed.
