Possibilities of recruitment in the Czech Republic

The thesis deals with the possibilities of recruitment in the Czech Republic. The first part analyzes the role of individuals, organizations and state and the relationship between these three areas. In the second part I compare the approach of the state and the private sector in the field of recruitment. In the third part I examine how individual systems implement matching requirements as a fundamental principle of recruitment. The aim is to show the unique features of this area, which had not previously been in the spotlight. The main contribution of this thesis is designing of own model of personnel management, which takes into account the previously neglected aspects of this field. Furthermore, designing a model of cooperation of the private and public sectors in recruiting and comparison of the approaches of these two spheres due to pairing requirements and creating a set of recommendations based on this comparison.

My study focuses on methods of the human resources management in an information company. Human resources management and personal information systems present nowadays a very important aspect not only in terms of a management but also in terms of long-term company strategies. Proper human resources management and information system functioning provide an organization with a priceless competitive advantage in the form of effective usage of human resources. At first, human resources management is examined from the theoretic point of view and after that these theoretical needs are set against possibilities of a usage of personal information systems. Consequently, different functions of personal information systems and their supply on the Czech market are analyzed. In the separate chapter I bring in a practical example which summarizes the present state of human resources management and personal information systems in the Tyllco s.r.o. company and which also comprises my recommendation for an improvement.
Zpracování a tisk reklamní grafiky

Předmětem zájmu této bakalářské práce je výroba produktů pro reklamu a prezentaci. Důraz je kladen na sumarizaci základních teoretických znalostí potřebných pro orientaci v oboru tisku a výroby reklamních produktů a představení několika v praxi zpracovávaných úloh. Úvod se věnuje rozdělení reklamy z pohledu nosičů reklamních informací a jejich formátů. Poté je vysvětlena problematika vzniku barevné informace, přenosu na reklamní nosič a způsoby, kterými vznikají barvy při výrobě. Následuje výklad pojmů velikosti a rozlišení. Další oddíl se zabývá výrobními materiály, poslední teoretický oddíl patří rozdělení tiskových technologií. Praktická část práce se věnuje třem konkrétním zakázkám, které autor v minulosti řešil.
Searching in the deep web

The bachelor thesis deals with the deep web, i.e. pages not indexed by the search engines and therefore not searched, and searching in it. In the theoretical part, the deep web is analyzed and its features and tools that can be used to searching in it are described. In the practical section the selected tool are used and the difference in the search results using common search engines and metasearch engines is shown.
Using of biometric methods in IS applications

The main objective of this bachelor thesis is an analysis of selected companies on the Czech biometric market. Performed analysis is focused on biometrics products and offered services in this area. The obtained information is compared with the selected criteria. The final evaluation is done for three groups of costumers, each of the groups have different importance of each criterion. Importance is allocated to each criterion by using paired comparisons. This method is also used to evaluate companies according to various criteria. Sequence of companies for each group of costumers is determined by using weighted sum, where the result of company is sum of results in criterion multiplied by relevant value of weight. The analysis of companies can be taken as supportive documentation for the final selection of vendor of biometrics system. Analysis gives a comprehensive overview of companies, their products and services. It also provides a clear comparison and evaluation of each company result.
Inovation of the human resource management system

Focus of this work is addressed to the most suitable solution of a human resource information system in the VUB Bank, inc. Great attention is paid to the individual phases of the implementation of HRIS: HR strategy, company analysis, selection and implementation of appropriate solutions. The possible structu-re of the RFP is suggested for potential suppliers of solutions.
Digitization of documents in non-profit organization

This thesis deals with the digitization and sharing of documents in the non-profit organization Liga proti rakovině. Its aim is to approximate the action of this organization to readers and to suggest solutions of digitization and sharing their digital documents. The preparation of work consists of reading literature, online resources, and especially personal consultations in the organization office at the hospital Na Bulovce. The work gives the reasons for the digitized documents and design solutions. Finally, the procedure for actual implementation is recommended. The document is structured so that in the first part the reader is familiar with the activities of the oranization Liga proti rakovině. That is followed by analysis of the current situation regarding the documents, which shows demand for digitization. The next section describes the digitization, suggested solutions and introduces the following resolution for storage of digitized documents.
Innovation of information systems in enterprises, particularly in the utility market segment

This thesis addresses the innovation of information systems in enterprises, particularly in the utility market segment. The thesis starts with a definition of utilities, a market segment containing companies involved in generation, transmission, distribution and retail of energy services as well as other companies providing related networked services. The aims of this thesis are both theoretical and practical. The theoretical part offers a new theory for IS innovations for the selected segment and for the relation between the innovation and the architectures of IS. In the practical part, the author identifies current challenges and opportunities in the selected market segment and offers scenarios and visions for future development. The first part of the thesis maps out the general innovation theories in the context of the selected topic. The second part introduces a new innovation theory based on an analysis of the specific conditions in the utility market segment. The next section focuses on the topic of IS architecture and its ability for tracking and managing the changes of the IS during the innovation process. The following part relays designs for specific architecture models supporting the current innovation trends in the utility market. The final part of the thesis summarizes particular business recommendations for innovation procedures in utilities, identifies innovation opportunities, and inspires visions for the future development of the market. The opportunities are related to a new way of understanding the role of IS in utility companies. IS provides a portfolio of information services to support the customer oriented business services, advanced services with added value and tailor made services for specific customer groups.
Using a virtual station for network testing

This work deals with using a virtual station for network testing. The work is segmented into two parts -- a theory and a case study. The theory covers two topics. Virtualization methods and types are described first; short descriptions of physical and virtual local networks follow. The virtualization part concludes with a description and a short comparison of server virtualization products by three successful companies on a virtualization market. The second part addresses the network testing. Network attributes appropriate for testing are described therein. The case study describes an installation of a selected server-virtualization product. Then several virtual stations are run on the server. One virtual station is used for testing of a local area network which it is connected to; the other stations generate traffic in the network.
Analysis of document management in business company

Document management systems are modern trend for successful company leadership. Their importance grows with still improving technologies. Document management is a sphere in witch the company can save costs and gain competitive adventage. This bachelor work analyzes the document management on the example of specific company, engaged in the manufacture and distribution of implantable pacemaker technology. The situation with document management isn't satisfactory and therefore the company management asked the author of this bachelor work for make an analysis of the situation with document management, identify any failures and propose possible solution how to resolve the situation.
