Crossroad I/52 and II/152 - Study

The subject of the thesis is a variant solution of the interchange of roads I/ 52 and II / 152 near the village of Modřice, which lies in the district of Brno-Country in the South Moravian Region. Within the work, a total of four variants were proposed and subsequently processed in the form of a study. The aim of the proposal is to improve the traffic situation and traffic safety, due to the formation of queues on the ramps of the interchange at rush hour, which is caused by heavy traffic on the road II / 152.

In the upcoming years, the healthcare and social system in the Czech Republic is expected to encounter a significant surge in the deficit of general nurses due to the anticipated retirements. One of the strategies that could help mitigate the impacts of the expected shortage of healthcare professionals in this area of expertise is to attract more men to pursue careers in nursing. This thesis examines the subject of integration of men into teams predominantly composed of women in intensive care units. The aim of the thesis is to determine how alterations in the gender composition of initially exclusively female teams impact the processes related to group dynamics. Interim objectives included finding a suitable strategy to facilitate men's entry into teams predominantly composed of women, as well as identifying the abilities and skills through which men could improve the current provision of nursing care. With information obtained in this manner, we should be able to implement appropriate measures that support not just the recruitment but also the retention of new employees. The key challenge in this area will be to guarantee transparency and equal conditions for both women and men who will choose to work in this area of expertise. Estimation of normative values for the semantic verbal fluency test in older adults over 50

Title: Estimation of normative values for the semantic verbal fluency test in older adults over 50 Objective: The aim of the diploma thesis was to create normative values for the semantic verbal fluency test (animal category) for older adults over 50 years, depending on the level of education achieved. Methods: The diploma thesis is constructed as a cross-sectional study. All data were obtained from the international project Survey of Health Aging and Retirement in Europe (SHARE). The descriptive statistics of participants were produced with calculated means and standard deviation for continuous variables and percentage for categorical variables. The median and interquartile range for age and semantic verbal fluency test (animal category), and 2nd , 7th , and 16th percentile as the cut-off points for verbal fluency test (animal category) were calculated for participants divided into ISCED - 97 education levels and for each country separately. Results: Data from 64,242 participants aged 66.4 were analyzed, and the female ratio was 55.8 %. All respondents were older adults over 50 years old from 20 European countries.
